CDH Providers provide high quality child care in a safe and healthy environment. They offer creative activities and a routine to provide consistency in children’s day to day activities If you are interested in becoming a CDH Provider, stop by our offi ce located within the CDC Bldg 965 today and pick up an application Our orien-tation classes are held quarterly, our next class is the week of August 8th -12th 2011. The certifi cation process involves the following: A completed application with sponsors approval, successful completion of local and federal background checks, in home interview with spouse, family members & CDH staff, completion of orientation class & a 3 hour mentor lab. You must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED, be in good physical, emotional and mental health.

Our program offers a referral service to assist parents with their childcare needs. Our referral listing has many openings to suit the unique needs of active duty and DoD Civilian employees. Openings vary from full time, part time, drop in, nights and weekends.

Junior Guard Training:The Junior Guard Training Program is a two-week course, Monday-Thursday, for ages 9-15 only. Participants will become knowledgeable in life saving tech-niques and the responsibilities of being a lifeguard. An American Red Cross Lifeguarding Tomorrow participant’s packet will be provided to each participant. After training participants will work alongside MWR Lifeguards in a “shadow program”. All assignments will run two weeks after training. Sign up at ITT.Sign-ups: May 2 - June 1, 2 Cost: $30 Training: 2pm - 3pm June 20th at the Lap Pool

Private Lessons: Summer sessions for Children and Teens:These specialized lessons are great for accelerated results and are for all swimming levels.
