Welcome This week, Kandos Public School welcomes Kandos High School Year 10 students - Ava Vidler, Hannah Doyle and Harley Endacott to our school. The students are here gaining skills and completing Work Experience. Spelling Bee Champions This week, we are applauding the 36 Primary students who seized the opportunity, conquered their fears and secured their positions, as they took on the challenge of the Junior (Years 3 and 4) and the Senior (Years 5 and 6) rounds of the annual Kandos Public School Spelling Bee event yesterday. It was a delight to be an audience member at this event and to watch the students attempt each word, while endeavouring to be correct. Students displayed great team spirit, were supportive of their fellow contestants and were always pleased with each other’s results. The Junior section went for 11 rounds, while the Senior section went for 7 rounds. Clever students spelt tricky words like L-O-N-G-I-T-U-D-E and H-E-R-I-T-A-G-E. Well done everyone!
