It has been proposed that the canals will be extended that run through the water research center. Buildings will be built up towards the edge of the water. A continous strip will also run along the waters edge to allow pedestpedestrians to walk by the water. The canals will run through the water re-search center to allow workers to travel by boat to work or use it as a stop to walk down the waters edge.

I would like to create a strong relation with the canals so it will allow the boats to come through the middle of the building and create a break between the public and private space. As well the structure being expressed externally the structure will also form part of the atrium space internally.
