March 23rd, 2020 Week 2 is here and most importantly, I'm sending the LARGEST shout out to families for implementing art and music education at home - pat yourself on the back, because this isn't possible without you!! I've attached the art & music resource guide for week 2 - you and your student(s) can explore different art and music related activities, games, tours and how to videos from home! Activities are sorted by grade levels for easy access. Endless thanks to those who have been sending pictures and videos of your student(s) working, it has been a great relief to see our artists and musicians continuing to create during this time! I do not expect your student(s) to complete all the activities, but I do suggest 2-4 activities weekly to keep their creative juices flowing! I will ask that you or your student (depending on age) keep a log (example provided) to track the activities they have chosen to complete. These logs will be due upon our return to school. If your student completes an online drawing activity (how to draw/digitally) I would love to see them! Feel free to take a picture or screenshot them and send to my email at the bottom of this page. In the body of the email, please include student name, class and date the activity was completed. Feel free to go back to the resource guide from week 1 to continue other activities as well. If you have any questions/concerns or need help with a link, please contact me at any time through my email. Endless thanks for taking on the arts to share with your student(s)! d ART & MUSIC RESOURCE GUIDE - WEEK 2 CONTACT MS. HEROW ANY TIME [email protected]
