WROXHAM WEEK IS NEARLY HERE It's that time of year again & Wroxham Week is just round the corner. Hopefully by now you should have received your programmes & Pre-Entry forms in the post. If not then please e-mail us at [email protected] & we can send them to you by e-mail. Please make sure all pre-entry forms are back to the office with payment by 5pm on Sunday 21st July after which time we will no longer accept the forms. We are also taking bookings for the Club Events during Wroxham Week so make sure you get these early as they do sell out fast. It's looking like another fabulous week with a packed schedule of entertainment for all the members to enjoy. Anyone who needs a swing mooring for the week please contact the office as soon as you can as these are in short supply & are going quickly. please avoid being disappointed. Trophies, can anyone who won a trophy during Wroxham Week last year please start making plans to have the trophy polished & returned to the office before the week begins to ensure we have them all in place for prize giving this year. As always the office team are her to help with any questions or queries so if you need help please make sure you contact us in the office so we can help if we can. All of us are looking forward to the week & we can't wait to see you all enjoying a fantastic Regatta. IN THIS ISSUE CAMPING IN WROXHAM WEEK You will have noticed in your Wroxham week packs that we have included a new system for Camping. Please make sure you have booked a spot & that you do not pitch until having spoken to the office. The pitches will be marked out, numbered & allocated on the week leading up to Wroxham Week. All tents & Caravans will only be in the designated areas, anyone not booked or pitching elsewhere will be moved but we will try to accommodate everyone who wishes to camp. We all would like a safe week, hence the change.

"Notice: Discount of dinghy park fees forqualifying sailors.The Committee want to encourage andsupport all dinghy sailors to ensure growingnumbers for all dinghy fleets. With immediateeffect any person, junior or adult, can achievea 100% Discount of their dinghy park fee in2020 if they qualify in the results list for aposition in a season long recognised NBYCtrophy competition. The Discount is for onedinghy per person only.They do not have to win the trophy, nor comein the first three, just complete sufficientraces to be placed - the number of racesvaries dependent on the trophy. Wroxhamweek, class weekend and short competitiontrophy races do not apply.Confirmation of those who have achievedqualification will be issued by the RacingTeam via the office before the AGM. This information will be released onFacebook, however please advise all dinghysailors you know of this great piece of goodnews."

We had another wonderful evening at oursecond quiz night of the year. hosted by ourquiz-master James Dugdale. We raisedanother £94.00 towards the Playground fundso thank you to James & everyone who camealong to take part. The staff team were victorious on the nightbut we don't like to shout about it.Please come along & take part in our nextscheduled quiz which is going to be on Friday19th July, see you there.
