JOBS

Team Leader (1): does Ms. Kim’s job of organizing and orchestrating the data collecting. Knows everyone’s jobs by heart and has leadership like a leader, not a boss.

Timer (4-8): accurately times the car passing through their section; reports out to calculator or Ms. Kim their data

Calculator (4*): in the case of multiple timers, calculator must gather data and calculate average and report to Ms. Kim

Mechanic (1): must keep car tuned up and ready to go at all times. Only one to handle supplies. Must be patient and quick. Releases car at Team Leader’s signal.

Mechanic’s Help (1*): receives the car on the other end and assists Mechanic with any repairs; sweeps before each trial
