A small entry for the early month sale saw a
much more difficult trade. However, the best
remained in strong demand with heifers
topping at £1680 for a smart freshly calved
heifer sold on behalf of Messrs P Littlejohns
& Son of Hartland. Bert Littlejohns also sold
another fresh calved Heifer at £1550. An

Bath & Family of Bude yielding 37Kgs topped
the cow section at £1520 with an impressive

The trade for anything but the best was
significantly easier, possibly reflecting a number of buyers silaging and the recent milk price cuts. Quality In Calf
heifers sold well with a consignment from Messrs KJ Bragg & Partners of Chulmleigh topping at £1350 for
‘Titterton Twist Jane 3’ due Mid-June to Bellemont Perks and his consignment of 5 In Calf heifers sold averaging
