Weddings & Receptions Alloa Town Hall

Alloa Town Hall was refurbished in 2011, restoring its Victorian splendour. It has a choice of rooms that can accommodate ceremonies up to 160 people. The hall also boasts an inviting bride’s room where you can relax in private before the ceremony.

The main hall is located on the ground floor and is attractive and spacious with a sprung wooden floor, elegant decor and adjustable lighting system.

A number of different seating arrangements are possible for a wedding breakfast for up to 200 people.

The Hall has a bar and kitchen and there is also ample free parking for you and your guests.

Cochrane HallCochrane Hall in Alva, which is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Ochil Hills was also refurbished in 2011. The Hall can accommodate ceremonies of up to 100 people.

Three of our civic halls are popular venues for wedding receptions - they are also designated for civil ceremonies. So whether you are planning a small, intimate wedding, or a large scale celebration, we will do everything we can to help you deliver the day of your dreams.

Wedding packages are available for Alloa Town Hall, Cochrane Hall in Alva and Sauchie Hall.

Sauchie HallSauchie Hall situated approximately two miles from the centre of Alloa has a choice of rooms that can accommodate ceremonies of up to 100 people.

The main hall is located on the ground floor. Wedding breakfast seating can be arranged for a for up to 160 guests.

The Hall has a small bar and kitchen and there is also ample free parking for you and your guests.

Wedding Packages are available that provide exclusive use of the facility for the day, allowing preparation access for caterers, bar services, florists etc.

In addition you will receive the use of our red carpet, a choice of tables, white linen and use of the bridal room.

As part of the wedding package, access to the venue is also available the following day from 10am - 12 noon to allow the wedding party time to collect belongings, and caterers/suppliers access to dismantle or uplift equipment.
