The Hotel has 2 suites suited to larger wedding ceremonies and/or evening receptions, both are located on the Hotel’s ground floor.

The Lancastrian Suite is the largest of the Hotel’s function rooms seating up to 340 guests whilst the Washington Suite will accommodate 200 guests in comfort. (Capacities are based on a stage and dance floor in each room). Our wedding package has been priced according to guest numbers in each function room.

Corkage: A fee of £500 will be charged to cover unlimited spirits & wine – but excludes beer.All corkage drinks will be placed on guest tables.A function bar will be open to serve draught and bottled beers which will be charged on consumption.

Additional Information: A charge of £5 person applies to reset the room if a 2nd meal is to be served during the day.This will include:• White linen table cloths & napkins• Crockery, cutlery & glassware as per packageAdditional room décor is for the client’s own account.

Outside Catering: • All caterers will be expected to pay a £500

refundable deposit to ensure they leave the Hotel’s kitchen in the same condition as prepared for them.

• Client’s caterer to liaise with the Hotel’s Executive Chef to agree conditions of using the Hotel’s kitchen.

• The Hotel’s health & hygiene regulations must be abided by at all times. Your caterer must agree to comply by signing a disclaimer.

• Your caterer must sign a declaration that they are responsible for all food items provided for your event.

• The caterers are responsible for providing all the necessary equipment to prepare and serve the meal.

• All catering staff to be dressed in suitable kitchen attire, no outside clothing must be worn.

• Cooking outside is strictly forbidden on all events.• All hot and cold dishes must be fully prepared

before entering the kitchen.• Facilities are provided for finishing dishes ready for

service only.• Caterers own staff to both serve to the tables

and to clear away all table items including Hotel’s crockery and cutlery.

• No guests, family or friends are allowed in the kitchen at any time.

• After the function, all kitchen areas used by the caterer must be thoroughly cleaned and left in good working order. To be inspected by Duty Manager or Chef on duty.

Booking & Paying for your Wedding:• A provisional booking can be held for 14 days without any obligation.• To confirm your wedding a £500 deposit (non- transferable & non-

refundable) is required a contract will be prepared for you to sign.• A 50% payment is required 3 months before your wedding with full

prepayment required 1 month before the event date.• In the event of a cancellation we regret that all deposits paid are non

refundable and cancellation charges will apply as per your signed contract.
