excellent photo opportunities for your wedding ceremony! There is no venue on Lake Martin that offers this waterfront view. It is our desire to make your dreams come true here at New Water Farms.

New Water Farms Ceremony Locations: The Chapel Our chapel sits on a peninsula overlooking the clear water of Sandy Creek but also is tucked away from the busy lake traffic, lending a quiet, serene setting.

The Porch An intimate setting featuring a cozy wood burning fireplace with a beautiful view of the lake across the lawn. Perfect for a winter wedding!

The Beach On the end of the peninsula, where the sand meets the water’s edge you have a breathtaking view of Smith Mountain in the distance.

The Lawn Get married on the plush lawn with a panoramic view of Lake Martin. It’s also a wonderful place for dining al fresco with an outdoor reception.

The Vineyard A culinary vineyard right in the heart of New Water Farms makes for a picturesque setting to celebrate your big day. The beautiful views will create a scene that you and your guest will never forget.

The Lodge It offers a large area with a rustic beam ceiling and café lighting that serves as an all-in-one solution to your wedding needs. As if that isn’t enough the lodge opens up to our spacious porch. This room provides a quick, “Plan B” for a rainy day, if the need arises.

New Water Farms Rental Information

Upon deposit, we will book your requested date(s); however, the wedding date is not confirmed until we have received a completed Wedding Contract and a deposit of $1,500. If the client so chooses to have the rehearsal dinner on site there will need to be a separate contract. Once you rent the venue you have access to the property for your photo shoots of save the date and bridal portraits prior to the wedding. This must be scheduled with myself New Water Farms Event Manager.

Ceremony and Reception $6,900

The contract includes the large 50’ x 86’ rustic open beamed room that can be heated and cooled, a commercial kitchen, café lights, 200 white event chairs, 26 tables that seat 8, 12’x 24’ stage area, open gas fireplace, food display tables, cake table, and restrooms within the Lodge. This also gives access to the porch, lawn, beach, chapel and vineyard for your ceremony and pictures. You will be able to start decorating on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. the day before the wedding and will be renting the venue beginning Saturday at 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M. Ceremony rehearsals are limited to 1 hour. Trash cans are provided throughout the premises. (All times provided are Central Standard Time)

Hours: We are open year-around. The ceremony and reception rental are from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M. on the day of the wedding.

Payments: To secure your wedding, we MUST have received a signed New Water Farms Wedding Contract and a deposit of $1,500. A payment plan will be laid out in the contract. The balance of the contract amount must be paid in full four weeks prior to your wedding event. Your deposit is refundable, if you cancel 6 months or more, prior to your wedding, anytime less than 6 months the deposit is not refunded.

Setup and Rehearsal Options: The rental fee includes all setup and breakdown of our property. You will be responsible for the breakdown and removal of your decorations and personal property brought to the venue. The rental fee also includes the ceremony and reception site. Set up for ceremony rehearsals may take place one day prior to the wedding beginning at 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Please be courteous and use your time appropriately. Any requests for a change floor plan must be done a week before the wedding.

Accommodations: Guest House Rental, $400 per night

with a damages deposit of $100, no extra guest than accounted for per contract. (8-person limit)

Porch House Rental, $150 per night with a damages deposit of $100 (6-person limit)

Decorations: All decorations must be approved by the Event Manager 24 hours prior to the wedding. No nails, tacks, staples, putty, tape, glue guns or anything that penetrates the walls or ceiling is allowed. The only open flame candles that can be used are votive candles; LED candles are preferred. No rice, sparklers, confetti, or glitter are allowed inside or outside at New Water Farms, bird seeds are preferred.

Smoking: New Water Farms is a smoke-free facility, no exceptions. We do have a gas fireplace within the lodge and the wood burning fireplace on the porch.

Rehearsal Contract $1,500: This contract gives access to the Lodge,

Porch and Lawn areas for your Rehearsal dinner as well as a full day for setup,

8:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.
