Arranging the accommodation for your Wedding guestscan sometimes be all consuming.

We want you to focus on the arrangements for the Wedding Day itself

and have provided what we considera comprehensive guide of helpful hints overleaf

to assist you with the planning.

1. Please don’t take on the full responsibility of your groups accommodation requirements – you have a fabulous day to arrange and enough to do with all the other arrangements involved and your guests can look after themselves via our Reservations Team. Just ensure your priority family/friends have their name against a room as soon as you possibly can then ask them to make contact with the hotel to confirm their reservation and pay their deposit. After this point all other guests can make contact for their own arrangements and we will allocate to your group booking again paying their deposit. We can give you an up to date guest/rooming list at any point by simply emailing [email protected]

2. We do however recommend provisionally reserving as many rooms as you think you will need for the night of your Wedding and the night before – availability can change very quickly and this helps avoid any disappointment at a later stage. It is your responsibility to provisionally reserve as many rooms as you think you will require as our rooms are on general sale at all points.

3. Any rooms provisionally reserved can be held until 3 months prior to your Wedding date when we will require a definitive confirmation/release on things. We may need to ask for confirmation/release earlier.

4. We will agree and confirm a preferential Wedding bed and breakfast rate for your guests at the point of confirming your Wedding booking – this preferential rate is set up to ensure your guests all enjoy the same rate however is not room specific and it is easier to just specify doubles or twins rather than room type which then becomes very complex.

5. There are 18 rooms within our Munro Lodge/McMillan Suite building and the Travis Suite is a new addition which can be added (the full breakdown of rooms is 2 x 2 bedroom Cuillin Family Suites, 16 doubles which is the 18 room commitment with the McMillan Suite Package and the addition of the Travis Suite makes 19 rooms in total)

6. There are 29 rooms within our main hotel building. (there are 1 x 1 bedroom suite, 23 twin/doubles and 5 doubles)

7. Guests calling to make their reservation - 01436 860201 or email [email protected] - room deposits are 25% of the overall room rate which is non refundable – they pay the remainder of their charge when staying at the hotel.

8. Early night arrivals for McMillan Suite Weddings will more than likely require a room move from the main hotel building to the Munro Lodge on the Wedding night – we do endeavour to avoid this where possible and can advise much closer to the time, this is due to the fact that the McMillan/Munro Lodge is an exclusive arrangement and we can have back to back Wedding bookings taking place.

9. When booking the McMillan Suite/Munro Lodge – if there is any shortfall to the 18 rooms then the Bride/Groom are responsible for the charge.

10. Check-in time is 3pm and check out is 11am. It is not possible to provide for early check-ins for weddings however we will always assist with somewhere to change if arriving early.

11. Our Wedding Packages include a complimentary room for the night of your Wedding (typically a Cuillin Suite for McMillanWeddings and our Carter Suite for Glen Luss Weddings).For McMillan Weddings we can now offer an upgrade to the new Travis Suite with a supplement of £150.00. Should you decide to book the Travis Suite then the Cuillin Suite would become a chargeable room giving you 18 additional rooms for guests so 19 rooms in total within that building. If you decide not to take the Travis Suite we will sell this independently and there is no need to worry about filling it,you will only be obligated to 18 rooms.




WeddingWe are delighted to present our preferred suppliers list.

This list comprises of a wide range of suppliers, all of whom we personally recommend and have come highly recommended by guests who have either got married or who have held special events with us. These suppliers have built a strong relationship with the hotel and operate within our

guidelines to protect the fabric of our building whilst adhering to our health & safety and operational procedures. The safety of our guests and venue is paramount and these businesses are fully aware of the restrictions and limitations we have. Whilst we do prefer you to use our preferred suppliers

you can of course make arrangements with your own however we request that they contact us well in advance of your event to provide their insurance certificates and risk assessments and suggest they arrange a site visit with one of our team in advance of their work for you before being confirmed.

- What are our national park restrictions? With regards to fireworks - these need to be arranged with a registered supplier and be set off prior to 10.30pm. With regards to Chinese Lanterns - these need to be bio-degradable. With regards to confetti - unfortunately confetti is not permitted, even bio-degradable confetti causes issues for our drains and overspill into the loch.

- Do we provide any speakers/amps for outside entertainment? No, outside entertainers would have to provide their own equipment.

- If McMillan suite being used can non wedding guests still access the spa facilities? We cannot stop hotel guests using facilities.

- Is there a charge for dogs to stay in hotel? £10 per dog per night.

- Are there any limitations on alcoholic favours? Miniatures allowed 5cl.

- Can couples arrange a day for pictures before the wedding/is there a charge? Availability and rates available on request.

- Can a bar tab be done with a limit? Yes.

- Special dietary requirements? We have a special dietary menu to cater to vegetarian, gluten freeand other dietary requests.Simply ask and we will send you it.

- Can we arrange speedboats? We can arrange or pass on contact details.

- Are candles allowed? Tealights/Pillar candles are fine in their appropriate holders – not lit candleabras, needs to be artificial candle bulbs.

- Do we provide a post-box for wedding cards? We can provide you with an outside venue dressing company who can provide these.

- Will I have the same Wedding Co-ordinator throughout the lead up to my Wedding? We have a team of 5 within our Events Department who will be able to respond and pick up your plans at any point throughout the lead-in. When we get to the final meeting stage 6 weeks prior we aim to have the same Co-ordinator taking you through to the day itself.
