Precise and professional organization

When they hear the word wedding, people often imagine a daydream, a celebration, a transcendent experience. That is certainly true, but there is another side to a wedding the so-called foundation. Without a foundation the whole dream can melt away. This foundation is in organizing the wedding, and it includes: precise timing; selection of high-quality vendors; coordinated and continuous management of contractors as they fulfill their responsibilities; and, of course, intimate knowledge of the region where the wedding takes place, in addition to fluency in the appropriate language.

Such an important event should only be entrusted to the most reliable professionals!

The creation of a singular style

Its possible to choose a beautiful location and delicious food, but such a wedding will still resemble a thousand other weddings! Like every person, every wedding has a unique essence, which needs to be created. The individualism of a wedding should reflect the uniqueness of the bride and groom. Since it is one of the most important days of your life, your wedding should not be another ordinary and colorless day. And its not easy to accomplish everything you imagined after that coveted Yes, I will!

Brides often want a little of this and that, but those are individual details, while husbands do not always participate in lengthy discussions, friends are busy, and eventually you are left alone with your thoughts and desires. There is so much you want to do, but you dont always know where to begin.

Be referring to us for your wedding planning, you will obtain a friend and a helper. We simply adore everything to do with weddings, so you will be able to talk with us as long as you like about the candles, the dress, the accessories, the tablecloths and etc.

Our wedding planning service

Our wedding planning services can be adapted to a couples needs. Please find below a complete list of the wedding planning services we provide.

Our quoted fee will depend on the size and scale of your wedding, the number of services we are required to provide, the weddings logistical complexity (which is often linked to venue choice), the amount of preparation time we estimate will be required for the planning of your wedding and the time-frame we are required to work to.

- Initial consultation

- Venue find: we present a selection of relevant venues, organise venue visits with you, produce a ball-park budget for all associated wedding costs at one or two of your favourite venues and accompany you to contract stage.

- Support, advice and guidance throughout the wedding planning process via email, telephone and Skype.

- Selection and management of vendors: Sound, light and AV equipment hire & technical support Stage & dance floor

- Wedding styling: aesthetic, colour pallet & special personal touches. The look and feel of your wedding is paramount for us. Because we know that all of our couples have a different story, we try and help them create a wedding that represents them visually as individuals and as a couple within the context of the chosen venue and destination. For couples who have a clear vision of the aesthetic they wish to achieve, we will help them to bring this to life and make sure that all creative aspects and details are tied in with the desired colour pallet and style. We also try to provide guidance for couples that have less of a creative vision by teasing out aspects of their personality that we can transform into visuals and colour pallets. We guide the florist, stationary designer, photographer, videographer, cake designer, hair and makeup artists and even sometimes the caterer to ensure that they all work with us in the same direction for the same common goal.


- Budgeting using a specially adapted wedding budget spread sheet and payment schedule (clients pay the venue and vendors directly, KR Events helps clients to ensure that the payment schedule is respected).

- Translation & interpretation.

- Research into and booking of accommodation,destination information, local activities etc. This information can be given to guests either in the form of an insert sent with the save the date or invitation or by means of a wedding website (see additional extras section for more details).

- Organisation and attendance of technical site visits.- Organisation and attendance of a ceremony rehearsal.

- Logistical planning of transportation & transfers for guests (clients must provide list of guest accommodations at least 2 weeks before the wedding if KR Events are not managing the RSVPs).

- Drafting of a welcome letter for guests: schedule of events, event and venue information, transport schedule, local activities & restaurants, important contacts. Please see below for welcome letter delivery details in the Additional Extras section below.

- Drafting of a running order document & contact sheet.- Briefing with all vendors & the venue on the run up to the events.- Follow-up post wedding with the venue and vendors to give feedback and ensure that all invoices are settled.

On Site Coordination

On site coordination from the arrival of the first vendors to the departure of all guests:

Management of all vendors, the general set up and teardown Management of the running order Supervision of bridal preparations Guest logisticsSet up and dismantle of styling touches and details

The number of planners and assistant planners required to ensure the on site coordination depends on the scale of the wedding, number of guests, the venue, logistical complexity and the wedding schedule.

Please note that we do not provide on site coordination services in isolation. This is only provided in conjunction with the full planning service.

Additional Services

Extra events: Many of our clients wedding celebrations take place over several days. The festivities often commence with a welcome event and conclude with a farewell brunch. We can also organize activities or excursions on the days surrounding the celebrations such as wine tasting, a guided tour of a historic village, a boat trip... These extra events are charged for depending on the scale and amount of vendors involved.

Expenses

All travel, accommodation, food and beverage (for on site coordination days only) are not included in the above fees. All expenses are invoiced for after the events in our expenses invoice and are not subject to any mark-up on our part. Please see below for details of usual expenses:

Accommodation costs usually apply for weddings with a very late end time or weddings taking place over multiple days unless the venues are located within a reasonable driving distance from where our team are based.

Food and soft drinks required by the KR Events team on the event dates or any set up or tear down days around the events are treated as an expense.

If we are required to make any purchases on your behalf, this will also be included in the expenses invoice. Purchases are usually small items such as favours, paper goods, decorative touches etc.


10% of the global wedding budget with a minimum agency fee:

- 6000 euro (vat included)for big weddings with over 20 guests.

- 3000 euro (vat included) for intimate weddings with atotal number of guests below10-20 persons.Small weddings with a very complex organization (for example a full entertainment program: different artists, musicians, big firework show; complex transfers, etc) are an exception. In this case the complexity of the organization must be considered at the beginning of the planning, in order to fix an individual minimum agency fee.
