Set within 4 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, our surroundings

make the perfect backdrop for photography. Sweeping lawns, a sunken

garden with a lily pond, a picturesque thatched summer house and a

beautiful garden provide a variety of different and attractive settings.

On arrival at the main entrance, the beautiful stone fountain creates an

atmosphere of tranquillity and leads guests through to the impressive

Coach House Bar where arrival drinks are served. Beyond is the old

Victorian Walled garden which now forms a sheltered courtyard with

seating grouped around a magnificent Roman style Gazebo. This is

licensed for civil marriages so that couples may have their ceremony in

the open air, weather permitting.

A Country House Wedding

A Marriage Ceremony with StyleA civil marriage may take place within our licensed rooms any day of

the week. Bridal couples have the choice of holding their ceremony

in The Heritage Suite, the more intimate Drawing Room or our

beautiful Gazebo if the weather is fine. Whichever you choose, we

will make the reservation with the Registrar with whom you will then

make the rest of the arrangements for the ceremony. Ceremonies are

guaranteed 365 days of the year and payment is made directly to

the registration service. (Please see the enclosed tariff sheet for hire

charges and prices).

The Heritage Suite will seat up to 150 guests for the ceremony, but

can be sectioned off to accommodate smaller numbers. Minimum

numbers do apply on certain days - please see the enclosed information.

The Drawing Room with its classical appointments and antique

furnishings provides a most intimate setting for ceremonies of up

to 30 guests and receptions can then be held in either the Oakly or

Maple private rooms. Our magnificent Gazebo makes the perfect

setting for an open air ceremony. Classical in style, it is in the middle

of the beautiful walled courtyard behind the old stable building

which now forms the reception area to The Heritage Suite.

Please note that it is not possible to have just the ceremony at

Hempstead House on a Saturday. Bookings will only be taken

for couples wishing to have their reception at the hotel as well.

Ceremonies only on other days will be at the discretion of the hotel.

A Grand Entrance

The Heritage Suite is the perfect setting for weddings. The flexible seating arrangements allow for a variety of different layouts and will easily convert to a more informal setting for the evening buffet. There is a large dance floor area with plenty of space for live music or entertainment and The Coach House provides a grand entrance area and spacious bar.

There are also a number of options for the wedding breakfast: The Oakly Room, seating up to 20; The Maple Room, seating up to 30; Lakes Restaurant, seating up to 70; as well as the Heritage Suite which seats up to 150. A full range of wedding breakfast and evening buffet menus are enclosed, along with prices and our wedding co-ordinator is always on hand to help with enquiries.

Luxurious Honeymoon SuitesEach of our three honeymoon suites is different in size, style and decor. One is in the old part of the hotel, one above The Heritage Suite and one above the spa. They all feature six foot beds with luxurious bathrooms; two with Jacuzzi baths; and are elegantly furnished with luxury in mind. Complete your special day with an overnight stay in the one of your choice and enjoy a delicious full English breakfast in bed the following morning.

All our guest rooms are brimming with their own character, having been individually designed and most elegantly finished. Each room is spacious, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped with televisions, direct dial telephones, high speed WI-FI, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and radio alarms. They are all en-suite with bath and shower and include bathrobes and toiletries.

AquaManda… The Perfect Place to UnwindSet in the elegant surroundings of Hempstead House Hotel, AquaManda is the perfect place to retreat, relax and unwind, work on your fitness and indulge and pamper yourself. As residents of the hotel, you and your guests will have complimentary use of all the facilities within the Spa during your stay.

The oval shaped indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms are located next to the pool with loungers in between, allowing you to relax before and after all activities. Our Brasserie is the ideal place to enjoy a light bite or a cup of freshly brewed coffee or drink from the bar. With views out onto the gardens, and over the pool, it makes the perfect setting for a get together with your wedding guests. In the summer months, there is outside seating on the terrace where you can enjoy a relaxing alfresco experience in the sunshine

Our Beauty Therapy suite provides a complete escape from the pressures of modern life; with 5 treatment rooms, a manicure, pedicure, hair styling, make-up area, and a tranquil relaxation room overlooking the gardens. Our experienced therapists will help you to choose from our comprehensive range of Wedding Packages, including holistic treatments, therapies, manicures and pedicures and Bridal hair and make-up to help you relax and prepare for you special day. AquaManda has been designed to create a calm and inviting environment to make you feel relaxed and revitalised.
