University of Duhok Directorate of Quality Assurance Preface In this section the teacher states his/her philosophy and vision of teaching and academic lifetime. Teaching allows me to fulfil what I believe to be a fundamental responsibility of physiologists: to communicate information to the public so they can make informed decisions regarding the environment. There are basic physiological principles that should be understood by under graduated students. Among these are the process of evolution and a basic understanding of cell physiology, the interdependence of biological systems, levels of organization in biology, basic animal anatomy and physiology, and the basics of scientific decision making. I also want students to appreciate and value animal diversity and to leave my class with an increased sense of stewardship for the animals. I have several objectives as an educator in addition to teaching the basic principles.

Preface

In this section the teacher states his/her philosophy and vision of teaching and academic lifetime.
