Creative Brief: Portfolio Design

background The purpose of this project is to establish and begin building a website for myself to advertise my work and get a good job. The main goal is to simply and efficiently show my artwork and get my name out for anyone to see and to interest them in my services and talents.

target audience Potential job prospects and clients mostly, but I want it to appeal to anyone.

objectives To inspire prospective clients and job opportunities to hire someone who will work hard to achieve their goals. Because this is a self-promotional piece, it will contain only my works and information about me. Hopefully after visiting the web-site, anyone will know everything they need to know to make an informed decision about my artwork.

obstacles To display all my artwork and ideas as simply and appealing as possible and to make my portfolio stand out from the thousands of others.

key benefit To enjoy doing work and be happily working and to gain attention through my work via the Internet.

support statement Using the internet will be a valuable source for my portfolio because if I continue to update it with the latest work, and start with a great design, it can go anywhere with me and I can direct possible clientele there even from my business cards.

tone I want my website to be retro but fresh. Represent me, and the things I like so when clients and companies or anyone views it, they will see what I am like and how I work. Vibrant colors, attractive typefaces, etc. that all work together.
