This has been created as a “practice run” WebQuest design for the EDUC331 course at Colorado State University.

In this lesson, students will need to develop their understandings of differing cultures and present them to the class. The are to compose an event proposal to be given to me after their presentation.

I formed the lesson assuming that a more advanced level (11th grade- 3rd year) of students would employ it. Some of the websites are written all in French and some are not. The goal is for them to develop an understanding of the holiday and celebration, and then present it in his/her own words.

Students should have contact with the instructor to help with guiding thought, answering questions, and evaluating team performance.

I think a class set of dictionaries would be helpful.
