Good competition is a good reflection of of real life – we went in really focused on the technical elements but if you want to succeed you have to have really good presentation skills you have to have things documented well

We may have had the technically superior vehicle but we were perhaps not selling it as well as Carl Hayden --

We had tons of resources

Didn’t put enough effort in paper or poster—

I don’t know if we were rated on the same curve –

A certain amount of the score is Subjective – keep in mind resources available.

We had tons of rsources. They had ingenuity and creativity

Doesn’t take an MIT degree to solve every problem – just good engineering

Legacy – they couldn’t have imagined – to get to a point to learn for yourself; to be accountable;

Younger students saw this – founding fathers of ROV team – now I’m not an average Joe and I have responsibility to set an example
