Mrs Kirby Retirement On Wednesday 20 th December, we will say goodbye to our Yr1 Teacher, Mrs Kirby. Mrs Kirby has always been held in high esteem and has shaped the lives of many children in her teaching career in Olderfleet Primary School. We thank her for her many years of service in the school and wish her well for her retirement. Parents Association We would like to thank the Parents’ Association for their large contribution to the staging that was used during the Christmas Services. We hope that the staging will help you see the children in their school performances in the future. After School Activities Please note that there are no after school activities until January. You will have received a note home with your child with a list of the After School Activities for the spring term. Please note that sometimes it is necessary to cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances however, we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible. Primary 5 Swimming We are hoping to expand our list of helpers to assist with swimming on a Monday afternoon. Primary Placement - September 2018Application forms for Primary One place in September 2018 are now available from the school office. Theadmissions criteria for each pre-school/primary school will be available to view or download at thistime. Our cinema visit will take place on Tuesday 19th December. Transport will be provided to the cinema however all children must be collected by an adult from the cinema at 3.15pm. Please ensure that a signed permission slip along with payment of £4.00 is returned to school.
