Daily Bible Reading Plan

One of the key ways you will grow in your faith is through reading God’s Word every day and spending quality time with Him in prayer.

This reading plan will help guide you through your time this year. There are three readings to choose from… 

1 chapter of the New Testament1 chapter from the Wisdom Books2-3 chapters from the Old Testament.

 You can read just the New Testament, add on Psalms/Proverbs, or read the entire Bible in one year!

For starters, read a New Testament chapter in the morning, a Wisdom chapter at lunch and the Old Testament chapters before bed. There is no right or wrong way, so long as you are reading the Bible.

Track your progress by using this simple strategy for Scripture reading…S.O.A.P.

Scripture - What did I read?Write down the date and the passage you read from God’s Word each day.

 Observation - What did I see?Write down a few notes of what stuck out to you in the passage.

 Application - What will I do?Write down a sentence for how you will apply this passage to your life.

 Prayer – Ask God for help.Write a short prayer asking God to help you put into action what you learned.
