Did you spot any wild animals at your camp yesterday? Today is a great day to make an indoor fort and read a book inside it. Can you talk about camping for 1 minute? Maybe you could come up with a riddle about some of the words you used this week

ActivityLet’s write a postcard to our friends/Colour in the camping pictures.

Write a postcard about camping to your friend or Teddy B. Draw a picture of where you are/write a sentence about what you are doing. Don’t forget the stamp. Can you write your name and address on the lines. (this is a free writing activity-let your child write without correcting spellings/grammar) Objective is for them to be able to record something about their camping experience. A picture will do if they do not feel confident to write any sentences.

SESE-GeographyToday we were looking at a postcard in our toy stations. Do you remember your address. What country do we live in? What colours are on the Irish flag? Have you ever been to a different country? Do you know any other countries. Have a look at a map of the world and try to find Ireland.

Look at page 56 in your small world book. Can you paint/draw a picture of your garden or copy one of Monet’s famous painting.Here is some more information about Monet.
