Remove pole end cap

Using 8mm spanned remove forward screw and nut

Once the front screw is removed bend the pulley out to allow access to the rear nut

Tape around the pole at the back of the cut out section to give a cutting line to cut the pole squarely.

Make sure you push the tack line inside the pole so as not to cut it.

Using a hacksaw cut just in front of the tape.

Thread tack line through Insert new pole end and insert the new pole end.

Use a self tapping screw through the old screw hole to secure the new fitting.

Lastly little bit of tape to make it look nice
