The Kununurra Project is a student club that works with Indigenous Youth in the remote Kimberly region in Western Australia. The Kununurra Project is run in conjunction with Save the Children, a large international charity that has been established for over 94 years. The project is now in its third year and has already established lasting change through the implementation of anti-bullying programs, basketball competitions and public speaking workshops. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and informed students that have an interest in developing a long-term understanding of the issues that Indigenous youth face, both now and beyond graduation. Whilst on the Project, you will be working directly with the children, in both rewarding and sometimes challenging environments, it is therefore important that you can work as both a leader and member of the team. Cost: $400 Includes: Accommodation, food, airfares and transfers. Payment: a payment plan can be arranged. It is essential to your participation that a payment plan is arranged within 1 week of an offer being made. Name: SID: Semester Started: Expected Semester of Graduation: Degree: Email: Mobile Number: Do you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander? YES / NO
