SUPPER TREKKER AUGUST 12 -16, 2019 A FOUR LODGE TRAVERSE The Esplanade Range is located north west of Golden B.C. in the Selkirk Mountains and there is a series of 4 lodges that connects the terrain to make a terrific 5 day hiking week. The helicopter flies us into the Sunrise lodge on the first day and back out to the car on the last day. We spend our days hiking from one lodge to the next and spend 2 days at the north end at Sentry lodge. Our hikes will vary in time and distance however most of the time we will be hiking all day with many short breaks. We start hiking about 9:30 am and arrive at the next lodge about 3:30 -4pm. There are options for shorter or longer days depending on the interest of the group. We will hike every day including a short hike on our departure day to a nearby lake. Our cook, Theresa will stay in the lodge and prepare an appetizer and dinner. After hiking, we can have a sauna and time to relax. Supper is usually about 7:00 pm- it's up to you. SUPER TREKKER Extra Guide 4 night Monday-Friday 1530.00 175.00 per hiker These prices includes private lodge rental, helicopter flights, all catering and guiding services and all applicable taxes. These prices are based on a group of 12 hikers with similar stamina and interests. Sentry Lodge is one of the most comfortable lodges in the backcountry. There is running hot and cold water, inside and outside toilets, wireless internet and a deluxe sauna with change room and shower. There are 6 rooms for 2 hikers each in the upstairs sleeping area. The other lodges along the traverse are more basic but they are comfortable, clean and well maintained. There will be an opportunity to fly your clean clothes, beer and wine to each of the 4 lodges on the first day. This will allow your day pack to stay light and keep things simple.
