Forensic DNA EvidenceThe Innocence Project

1. This project is designed for you to research a case of someone who was wrongly convicted, and later freed, using DNA evidence by the Innocence Project.

2. The first site you should use is www.innocenceproject.org which will give you some background information and some case dates. The rest of your information needs to come from research.

3. The name of your person will be picked in class and then you can follow it up with the research.

Requirements:

A mini poster (sheet of copy paper), brochure, mini book, or student created/teacher approved product that describes the case, including:

Pictures, if available, if not, generic pictures of justice- or DNA-related evidence A summary of the case itself The evidence that was presented that overturned the judgment The particulars of the case (when, where, etc.) Resources
