Workshop on Google Material Design
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has successfully organized workshop on
Google material design with APEX TG India Pvt. Ltd on 11 th September 2015.Resource
person is Mr.Vishal Trivedi. Workshop started with the introduction of technology,
languages, application and programming. After that he explained the basics of Google
material designing which is used to create a visual language that synthesizes classic
principles of good design with the innovation and possibility of technology and science. The
most important thing is that material can appear when you need it. Google has been working
on the algorithms behind products like Google Now for years, and it’s become an essential
part of this new design philosophy.
Google has turned its design principles into a search engine, simple and bold, elegant and
articulate. The organizing principle of material is touch, layers, weight, layout, colour,
animation and motion. Students are made aware of various job opportunities in the field of
material designing and content writing.
