We start the episode at Earth’s Moon, with The Galvanized hiding behind the unseen, dark side. A massive group of countless Exons are deployed with all kinds of stolen metals, generators, etc., and

begin building some sort of base on the Moon. In the bridge of the ship, Zodiac oversees the construction…

Zodiac: Do not waste a single moment, my Exon forces! Time is of the essence!

Shivaire: The Moon has yet to rise into view of New York City yet, Lord Zodiac. But soon, our completed project will be in full view as the moon rotates to the eyes of citizens waiting to be…exterminated?

Zodiac: Correct, Shivaire. This machine serves that purpose: Extermination. However, not in the usual way of dropping bombs over cities, but rather…through means of Cosmic Warfare.

Warta: Are you saying…?

Zodiac: Indeed, Warta. But, before I recount the tale and reveal the plan, I need Shivaire to gather the others. Gather them all: Dragonera, Phoenix, Silverbolt, and Celestia.

Shivaire: What about C.A.B.L.E.? And Bruiser Rampage?

Zodiac: I have C.A.B.L.E. keeping an eye on the Light, making sure they don’t interfere with our plan. And Rampage is watching from the shadows, waiting to bring in one last guest…

~Location Change~

At nighttime, the entire cast of Light is at the Cloaked Beacon base up in the Rocky Mountains. We start in a medical room, where Rockrus is being treated with a broken arm.

Rockrus: Let go of me! I've got to save Ruth!

Novalion: Jared, calm down! There's nothing you can do for her in your condition!

Rockrus: You don’t have to tell me twice!

C.A.B.L.E.: For crying out loud, Rockrus, I have treated children more complacent than you!

Rockrus: I have to get back out there, find Ruth!


Novalion: Haven’t we already established by now that she’s a traitor?! It was only 6 hours ago when we finally discovered the truth while the sun was still out!

Rockrus: And now we’re here at nighttime with me having to be treated when I could be out doing better things!

Novalion: Better things?! You could’ve been killed!

Rockrus: I’ll die trying to find the REAL truth if I have to!

Englond: ENOUGH!

Englond arrives.

Englond: Listen, all of you…I’m not supposed to tell you any of this…but…Dragonera…she isn’t a traitor.

Novalion: What are you talking about?

C.A.B.L.E.: …

Englond: After she was freed from Warta’s control many months back in the battle for Tokyo, she’s been faking that she’s still in control. This whole time, Dragonera has been on a deep-undercover mission, continuously trading information to me, as I have to her.

Rockrus: So, you’re saying…she’s a Double-Agent?!

Englond: Yes. Had it not been for the attack earlier today, I wouldn’t have been able to find out what Zodiac is about to do. (Pulls out a Purple USB)

Novalion: I can’t believe it…

Englond: The sad part is that she refused to bail out. She wanted to remain in the dangerous areas, all for our benefit.

Rockrus: And you didn’t try to stop her!?

Englond: Well…I did, but--

Rockrus: Why am I only hearing this now?! You should have told me!

C.A.B.L.E.: No. Englond is our leader. Everyone here, even Novalion, put trust in her to lead this fight.

Novalion: I don’t know if you forgot this all of a sudden, Kellen, but I was in the dark just as much as you and Jared were.

Englond: …


Novalion: But that doesn’t go to say that I don’t approve of what Englond and Dragonera have been doing. They wouldn’t have withheld this information without proper reason.

Rockrus: That doesn’t matter…You have no idea what your secrets have done to us.

Englond: Jared, please, I’m so sorry. You know I wouldn’t have done this without—

Rockrus: Get out.

Englond: But—

Rockrus: GET OUT!

Englond: …

Englond sulks out of the room.

Rockrus: …Listen, Tyler…I know it’s hard to believe that I’m saying this, but…I need some time alone to process all this.

C.A.B.L.E.: Go ahead, Novalion. I’ll finish up the arm-cast in just a moment.

Novalion: (SIGH) Of course.

Novalion leaves as well.

Rockrus: …So, what now, Kellen?

C.A.B.L.E.: Now, I share a secret of my own.

Rockrus: Wha--!?

C.A.B.L.E., without another word, pulls out his Cyber-Saber. Before we see what happens, we transition to Novalion finding a depressed Englond…

Novalion: …Caroline…

Englond: It’s a curse, isn’t it…? As Englond, it was Zodiac, Vibatron, and Celestia…now, as Caroline…it’s Kaleb, Ruth, and Jared…all the perfect poster-candidates for the ‘Stay-away-from-Englond/Caroline-Club’…

Vibatron: I overheard everything. And do you want to know what I think?

Vibatron suddenly appears.

Vibatron: You did what you had to. And so did everyone else. But right now, we gotta put this problem aside and deal with the one you mentioned about Zodiac earlier. So let’s go back in there and make


things right for the short-term moment. Then, when this supposed-crisis is over, we can deal with long-term.

Englond: …

The three return to Rockrus’ room. As they open the door…

Englond: Jared, listen, I—(GASP)

Vibatron: What the heck?!

Rockrus is nowhere to be seen. And neither is C.A.B.L.E., for that matter…

Novalion: Jared?! Kellen?! Where are you?!

C.A.B.L.E.: No need to shout, I’m right here…

C.A.B.L.E. approaches from the other side of the hallway.

Englond: Rockrus is missing!

C.A.B.L.E.: What?!

C.A.B.L.E. sees the disappearance for himself.

C.A.B.L.E.: Where in the name of Albert Einstein can he possibly be going in his condition?!

Novalion: Novalion to all Light members, search the base for Rockrus! He’s gone missing!

A few minutes later…

Thyme: No sign of him. And the portal log shows that it wasn’t used in the last few minutes, either.

FireRyker: Wherever he’s gone, I smell disaster.

Kaizen: Sorry, that would be me. I just ate about 5 cheeseburgers.

Englond: I’m afraid that the term ‘disaster’ has taken a new form…

Englond plugs the USB into the main computer, and everyone turns their attention on the main screen, where blueprints for a massive superweapon are displayed.

Thyme: Sacre bleu!

Pawar: Death Star, anybody?

Ms. Meteor: More like Starkiller Base.

FireRyker: A wise smuggler said that both of those could be blown up. Chances are, this one can, too.


Englond: I wish that were the case, FireRyker, but the design suggests that this weapon is to be built on the surface of Earth’s Moon.

Novalion: So, we can’t just blow it up like it were a planet…we’d have to shut it down, dismantle it, and discard the pieces somehow.

C.A.B.L.E.: Easier said than done. But more importantly, this weapon isn’t designed to shoot a laser. It is designed to shoot a rocket.

Kaizen: So, Zodiac’s going for Alien Nuclear Warfare?

Vibatron: That may be the case, Kaizen. The question now is: What’s the payload?

FireRyker: And how do we take it down?

Englond: While you all figure that out…

(BOOM)

Englond opens the Lightgate Portal…

Englond: I’m going to find Rockrus.

Bulk: You’re leaving the base? Again?

Englond: If he’s not here in the base, he may be outside of it. I’ll start the search myself. If I’m not back in 30 minutes, launch a search and rescue for me and Rockrus.

Novalion: Be careful.

Englond leaves, and heads to the same location she went to try and strengthen the Hikari back in Balance of Power. Once she arrives and the portal closes…

(BOOM)

Englond: A Darkgate?! Wait, this isn’t where I wanted to go…why am I back here?!

B. Rampage: Time to make a wish!

Rampage jumps out of the shadows, grabs Englond, rushes into the Portal, and arrives at The Galvanized…

~Location Change~

Englond: Let me go, brute!

B. Rampage: Not likely! You went to the same location twice, so you made the same mistake twice! 2 out of 2, just for you!


Shivaire: Welcome back, Englond! So glad you could join us!

Phoenix: Make one wrong move, and Rampage will throw a party.

B. Rampage: Yeah! The kind where you party all night long!

Englond: …

Celestia: Now, I believe that I owe you something for assisting me the last time we met…

Rampage releases Englond as Celestia uses her cosmic-water powers to restrain the queen.

Celestia: Don’t forget. Rampage can do more damage than me.

Shivaire: Also, just to show that there’s no hard feelings…

Shivaire adds a slight coat of ice to further restrain Englond, freezing some of the water.

Shivaire: There, that’s better! We make the perfect duo, don’t we, Celestia?

Celestia: You can say that again, Shivaire.

Silverbolt: Okay, now that that’s taken care of, can we please go to the bridge already?!

Shivaire: Learn some patience, Silverbolt!

Back on the bridge…

Zodiac: Do not humor me, Warta. This weapon cannot be destroyed in any way shape or form.

Warta: I…understand, my liege. After all, I was just thinking of the possibility that the Light may try to rebel on our plan.

Zodiac: If they do, they will die trying. Not from the vacuum of space, but what we are planning to launch.

Zodiac pulls out a canister of a mysterious blue substance…

Warta: I knew it! The Metagene Mist that we had been experimenting on!

Zodiac: And the same kind that you tried to get rid of during your brief rule!

Warta: What?! You…You know about that?!

Zodiac: Indeed, Warta. Vibatron filled me in a few weeks before her defection. In the year 2010, in an attempt to create your own super-soldiers, you leaked out all the samples of the Metagene Mist that the Dark Side was working on.


Warta: I didn’t anticipate the results wouldn’t yield what I…we had wanted!

Zodiac: Do NOT treat this problem as if it were ours, Warta! This is all your fault! You let ALL of our precious samples leak out onto the Earth, and what did it yield?! Nothing! Only a select few, conveniently on the Light Side, showed the potential for this power!

~Location Change~

Bulk: There’s more data on here that suggests the ‘Recreation’ of some kind of event…

Thyme: …I have a theory.

Novalion: Let’s hear it.

Thyme: Zodiac…he’s going to recreate an event from back in 2010. An event referred to scientists as ‘Metagenocide.’

C.A.B.L.E.: Would you…elaborate?

Thyme: Back in 2010, multiple reports across the world came about strange blue mists being poured onto 7 different countries: New York, Brazil, France, China, Egypt, Australia, and Antarctica.

FireRyker: That last one makes zero sense.

Thyme: Neither did the whole ordeal. Anyone who showed extreme problems exposed to the mists were taken into emergency medical operations. I was among the many people exposed. Symptoms included that of hives, seizures, nausea, drowsiness, nonlethal organ failure—

Novalion: Were there any deaths?

Thyme: Here’s the crazy part: No. No deaths were recorded for the duration of the incident. The patients remained hospitalized for an entire week, and then…they were fine. It just…made no sense. The symptoms disappeared over time as if it was nothing. The only side effect left behind was a slight change in each individual’s genetic code. But after analyzing my own…I’d say the change is more dramatic than it looks.

Thyme pulls out a notebook with pictures…

Thyme: This is a DNA sample of mine taken 1 year before Metagenocide. This next one is my DNA sample 1 year after. Fast forward to today, and you’ll see how dramatic the change is.

Ms. Meteor: That must be the source of our superpowers after all! I remember being exposed to that stuff, too!

FireRyker: Daniel experienced the same thing. And I was injected with a small, unstable amount just a few days before this war began.


Jade: You called it “Some crazy kookoo.”

FireRyker: Blame Warta.

Novalion: Do we know how many exactly were exposed and treated?

Thyme: Entire cities were exposed, Tyler. And only 100 people from each city, minus Antarctica, had to be hospitalized.

~Location Change~

Warta: Please, my liege! You know my intentions were true when I did the Metagenocide event!

Zodiac: You know, Warta…Ever since your first slip-up on Zochaias, I began to take a certain…liking to your string of failures. But now, as of recently…You’ve become too predictable. You’ve begun to BORE me. You’ve hit…ROCK. BOTTOM.

Zodiac draws his sword.

Warta: NO! Please, my liege! If this is about me trying to usurp you many months back, know that I have put that behind me!

Zodiac: That it was I thought. But I have not done such a thing myself.

Warta: Lord Zodiac, please, I BEG you! Reconsider my execution!

Zodiac: Too late, Warta.

Warta: PLEASE!

Warta gets down on his hands and feet, begging…

Warta: GIVE ME ONE MORE CHANCE! I SWEAR, I WILL NEVER DEFY YOU AGAIN!

Zodiac: ALL YOU EVER DID WAS DEFY ME! FROM THE DAY WE MET!

Zodiac raises his sword, but suddenly, Shivaire arrives with the rest of the Dark Siders…

(WHIR)

Shivaire: Lord Zodiac, we are here, and awaiting to hear your master plan! Wait a second…What on Earth?!

Zodiac: Disregard what you all just saw. I mean it.

Zodiac sheathes his sword, and Warta gets back up.

Warta: Uh…


Zodiac: Consider this a stay of execution, Warta.

Silverbolt: Care to get on with it, Big Z?

Phoenix: Silverbolt, dude…why do you have to call him that?

Silverbolt: Because I’m legit, that’s why!

Shivaire: Shut up, all of you!

Zodiac: Now then…First of all, allow me to welcome you back, Englond.

Englond: HMPH.

Zodiac: Still you resent me. No matter, you will soon bear witness to my greatest victory.

Zodiac displays the same blueprints the Light Side already saw.

Zodiac: With this small sample of Metagene Mist that I have kept locked away from others for many centuries, I will launch it to Earth, and recreate Metagenocide on a more…devastating scale.

Silverbolt: Wait a second…are you talking about that event back in 2010? Because, I was a victim, you know!

Celestia: So was I.

Zodiac: And I apologize on behalf of the Dark Side for the mistreatment you were given long ago. It was Warta’s incompetence that led to your pain.

B. Rampage: I don’t know what you all are talking about, but I get the feeling that Lord Zodiac wants someone to break Warta BADLY! And I will be the first to volunteer!

Warta: (GULP)

Zodiac: At ease, Rampage. Rather than exact revenge on Warta, we are going to exact revenge…on humanity!

Phoenix: And how do you intend to do that with that small sample?

Zodiac: It is simple…I have a means of expanding it to reach the exact same locations where the first event occurred. My Exons have secretly been excavating tunnels in the last few weeks, caverns large and long enough to reach all the same locations. When this mist is released at the city of impact, designated to be New York, the mist will pass through each cavern quickly, and return to where it once was.

Dragonera: That still doesn’t explain how that tiny little package is going to grow in size. You’d need a massive power source to do all that.


Zodiac: You’re right, Dragonera. And guess WHO that source is going to be?

Dragonera: Wait, WHO?

Zodiac: Yes, not WHAT. But WHO.

Zodiac begins to approach Dragonera. Everyone else backs away.

Zodiac: Play the archival footage.

Exon: YES, LORD ZODIAC.

The Main Monitor begins to show archived video of Dragonera, and things she has done…

Dragonera: Wait…Oh, no…

Zodiac: Oh, yes.

…Things that showed signs of betrayal to the Dark Side from past episodes, such as Balance of Power, No Holds Barred, and even her first sign of defection from Conquest: Part 2…

Englond: Ruth…We’ve been discovered…!

Dragonera: You…You knew, didn’t you!?

Zodiac: Of course I did. Nothing happens on this vessel without my knowledge. The only reason I allowed your defection to carry on this far was simply so you could fail even harder.

Dragonera: Stay back, Zodiac!

Zodiac: (CHUCKLE) You played well in this game, Ruth. But the game is OVER.

Dragonera: I said stay back, Kaleb!

Zodiac: KALEB IS DEAD!

Zodiac uses his Dark Magic to bring Dragonera to her knees.

Zodiac: And as much as I would like you to join him, I have a different fate in mind for you.

Englond: Get away from her!

Dragonera: I…I won’t do as you ask!

Zodiac: I am not asking. Do you really want to know what that Rocket is going to carry? This Metagene Sample, explosives powerful enough to rival 9/11, and, most importantly…YOU!

Dragonera: ME?!


Zodiac: Yes, Dragonera! You are going to be the tool of my victory! My swift and powerful sword that, with your failures, will crack the very Earth with dangerous Metagene samples!

Celestia: Dangerous thanks to MY efforts, Lord Zodiac. (Gives Zodiac a Shadow Crystal)

Zodiac: Indeed, Celestia. A shadow crystal plucked from the Shadow Dimension earlier today. Who knows what kind of damage the Mists will do, along with the Shadow Crystal, and the chaos you will create!

Shivaire: You’d better start praying that not many people will fall victim to your attack!

Dragonera: Attack?! What makes you think I’ll attack them?!

Zodiac: When the rocket impacts New York, the explosion created will be engulfed by the Metagene sample, altered with this Shadow Crystal. And with you as the first person to be exposed, your genetic code will be drastically altered to the point of insanity. Insanity where you will know nothing but to spread the mists, spread destruction, spread my final victory!

Dragonera: NO! I won’t do it!

Zodiac: Take her away, and prep her, Shivaire!

Shivaire: You got it, Lord Zodiac!

Shivaire begins to freeze Dragonera.

Dragonera: (WHIMPER)

Englond: NO!

Zodiac: Cheer up, little girl. When all is said and done, and 7 continents worth of humans are dead, your name will go down in history…right alongside MINE!

Once Dragonera is frozen solid, Celestia and Shivaire haul her off, with Phoenix and Silverbolt following. Rampage remains with Englond.

Zodiac: Now, where were we, Warta?

Warta: My liege, you know that I am still a valuable ally to your plans!

Zodiac: You know what, Warta? You have been granted more chances of redemption than ANYONE in Dark Side history! And now, I present a mercy uncommon in scenarios like this. You have ONE LAST chance to prove your loyalty to me.


Warta: One last chance?! That is all I asked for! I know the perfect speech to give to the Exons for their success in executing your plan, as well as declaring the start of your reign! Just you wait, Lord Zodiac, for I, General Warta, shall not let you down again!

Warta rushes off.

Englond: …You do know that was a mistake, right?

Zodiac: (SIGH) I don’t make many mistakes…but this may have been one of them.

B. Rampage: Can I start with the process of PAIN, Lord Zodiac?

Zodiac: No, Rampage. Englond shall bear witness to the destruction that I…or rather, Dragonera, shall create in the next hour.

Englond: (WHIMPER)

~Location Change~

Jade: This all goes ill…Zodiac is going to destroy the Earth with this plan!

Ms. Meteor: Oh, No!

Novalion: Not unless we stop him quickly! We may be down a few members, but the rest of us are still strong enough to handle this crisis!

Bulk: Let’s hear your plan then, Novalion.

Kaizen: I get the feeling this will be the best one you come up with. Seriously.

Novalion: The only problem is…we would have to take this fight to the Moon, which means going to space. And frankly, none of us are equipped to go that far.

C.A.B.L.E.: Neither is your primitive Lightgate portal.

Pawar: So that’s your plan?! Give up?!

Novalion: No…No, no, no, it doesn’t end like this! Not without one last chance to save Ruth, stop Zodiac, and keep our home from becoming a disaster!

Ms. Meteor: Wait, what about Ruth?

Vibatron: It’s about time we told them the truth, Novalion. Better late than never.

Novalion: Tell that to Rockrus. Wherever he is…

~Location Change~


Inside the almost completed massive rocket, we see two Exons load the Metagene Sample, and the Shadow Crystal. Then, we see Dragonera restrained to a chair, with tubes slowly pumping extra

Metagene samples in her forearms. Celestia and Phoenix oversee this…

Celestia: Comfortable, I take it?

Dragonera: No! It feels like I’m having some moldy food and flavorless medicine pumped in me! Get me out of this predicament, NOW!

Celestia: Sorry, Ruth. No turning back now. You should’ve bailed when you had the chance.

Celestia leaves. Phoenix remains.

Dragonera: And what are YOU gonna do, Alyssa?! Gloat about Zodiac’s plan some more?!

Phoenix: Actually, I was assigned to shut you up if the situation presented itself.

Phoenix pulls out some duct tape, and rips a small piece off.

Dragonera: No, stop! Let me go, I mean it!

Phoenix approaches Dragonera slowly…

Dragonera: No…NO…!

Dragonera has her eyes closed as she waits to be silenced. And there is silence, but not in the form of duct tape.

Dragonera: …What…?

Dragonera looks, and see Phoenix pressing a secret button on the interior of the Duct Tape.

Dragonera: What did you do?

Phoenix: The cameras in here are audio only, no visual. I just shut down the audio, so everyone thinks that I just duct-taped that mouth of yours.

Dragonera: …

Phoenix: I’ve got about 90 seconds before the audio comes back on, so you better listen up. What’s being pumped into you was designed to be permanent. But I managed to sneak in a secret reversal agent. If the Light rebels, which they no doubt will, then know that there is still some form of reversing the effects you will take on during this attack.

Dragonera: You’re not gonna bust me out of here?!


Phoenix: I can’t. If I do, then Zodiac would force me to join you. I’m the only one left on the Dark Side that’s still gathering information for the Light.

Dragonera: And yet you know that Zodiac will find you out.

Phoenix: Why he hasn’t decided to call me out, I don’t know yet. But my role is not important in this situation, yours is. Do whatever you can to stay in control, even if all seems lost.

Dragonera: …(Sniffle)

Phoenix: Crying will only make this worse, Ruth. We can’t undo the damage you’re about to do, but you can still do your part and find your way back.

Dragonera: I…I don’t want to betray my friends…My people…even my humanity…

Phoenix: What makes you think we’re all still human at this point? Myself included, we’re all monsters here. And I’m ready to pay for this one day. But you aren’t. So please, promise me…you’ll do all you can to at least protect everyone?

Dragonera: I…I promise.

Phoenix: Good. Now, be calm. Everything will be alright.

Dragonera: Everything would be better if you didn’t put on the tape.

Phoenix: I have my orders. But they’re not important as yours.

Phoenix places the Duct Tape on, and Dragonera fights back no longer.

Phoenix: Prove to everyone…you’re not a monster.

Dragonera: (Nods)

Phoenix departs.

~Location Change~

Thyme: I’ve got a bad feeling about all this…

FireRyker: Me too. Rockrus and Englond are missing, Dragonera’s not a traitor, we don’t know how we’re going to stop Zodiac’s dastardly plan…did I miss anything?

Kaizen: You did. Your sanity.

FireRyker: I am Sane!

Novalion: Let’s keep our sanity to ourselves, everyone! We need to find out a solution to all these problems, and fast!


C.A.B.L.E.: …

Behind his back, C.A.B.L.E. pulls out a hologram device, hidden to all except one person…

Rockrus: HYAH!

C.A.B.L.E.: (SCREAM)

Rockrus appears from nowhere, and tackles C.A.B.L.E.

Novalion: Jared! You’re alright!

Rockrus: C.A.B.L.E. is a traitor to the Light! He locked me in a closet with a broken arm!

Pawar: He what?!

Rockrus: I only regained consciousness 5 minutes ago, and regained enough strength to knock down the door!

C.A.B.L.E.: You’re joking, Rockrus! I would never do such a thing!

Rockrus: Oh, really?! Then how do you explain THIS?!

Rockrus yanks the holo-projector from C.A.B.L.E.

Rockrus: I was still conscious enough to hear you talking with Zodiac! And I’ll bet that every detail is on here!

Rockrus pushes a button on the receiver, and a recorded message between C.A.B.L.E. and Zodiac starts playing…

Zodiac: C.A.B.L.E., where are you?

C.A.B.L.E.: Taking care of Rockrus. And have you taken care of Dragonera yet?

Zodiac: I will. She is the key to our success, after all.

C.A.B.L.E.: I’m about to hijack the Light for good. If all goes well, Englond will be prompted to leave the base, and expose herself to being captured by Rampage.

Zodiac: Preset their Lightgate for the same location she was captured before. The perfect Ironic Humor, if you ask me.

C.A.B.L.E.: Time is of the essence, my liege. But I will not fail you.

Zodiac: Pray you do not.

The message ends, and Rockrus tosses the tool aside.


FireRyker: Kellen…

C.A.B.L.E.: Please, this is all some elaborate joke! Surely you don’t believe all that just happened, right?

FireRyker: TRAITOR!

Suddenly, FireRyker tosses off his sunglasses, rushes over to C.A.B.L.E., and grabs him by the neck, lifting him in the air…

Novalion: Christian, don’t!

FireRyker: You allowed all this to happen…and you betrayed all of us! Including ME!

C.A.B.L.E.: CHRISTIAN…PLEASE…PUT ME…DOWN…!

FireRyker: Not likely, scum. I’ve done a lot of dirty deeds, but this next one…I’ve got plenty of reason to make it dirtier.

FireRyker pulls out his pistol, and arms it.

Thyme: Don’t you dare do it, Christian!

FireRyker: Give me one good reason not to put this rat out of his misery.

Novalion: Because you would make us all Martyrs, that’s why!

FireRyker: I don’t see you putting Vibatron out of the way, Tyler! She’s probably a traitor too!

Vibatron: How DARE you accuse me?!

Ms. Meteor: Everybody, Calm Down!

Kaizen: Christian, please! We’re all being serious here!

Bulk: Don’t pull that trigger! Especially not on your best friend!

FireRyker: He’s NOT my friend! He’s a disgusting TRAITOR!

FireRyker tosses down the gun, grabs C.A.B.L.E. by the face, and tosses him across the room.

C.A.B.L.E.: (SCREAM)

Little did FireRyker realize that he pulled off half of the artificial skin covering C.A.B.L.E.’s cybernetic endoskeleton…

FireRyker: You can suffer in that corner for all I care! And don’t think you’ve gotten out of me pulling the trigger on you!


C.A.B.L.E. speaks, but now with a distorted, cybernetic voice…

C.A.B.L.E.: Christian, please…I had my reasons…!

Jade: Brother, listen to reason, please!

FireRyker: Reason?! I gave up on Reason years ago, sister!

Jade: For what?! A thousand Sleepless Nights?!

Jade points at FireRyker’s very weary eyes.

FireRyker: I had my reasons too, you know. I was trying to spare you from a world that would never accept us. And I tried everything in my power, until I was dragged into this freak show!

Bulk: That’s enough, FireRyker!

Bulk pulls out his Axe.

FireRyker: Don’t even, Caleb! I can put you out of the way as well, just like Kellen over there!

Rockrus: If you hurt anyone else on this team, you’re going to be the one suffering!

Novalion: Is this what we’ve become?! Traitors to ourselves?! Look at where we stand now! In the middle of a crisis, turning against each other, all because of a bunch of revealed secrets!

Rockrus: It’s like I said, Tyler: You have no idea what your secrets have done to us!

Novalion: Anytime you want it, Jared! But you’re not worth the Hikari’s time!

Rockrus: And frankly, you’re not worth mine!

(SIREN)

Before blows are struck, the computer monitor suddenly changes to a news station where the Full Moon is shining over New York, with some sort of gigantic machine covering its face.

Novalion: Oh, no…We’re too late…!

C.A.B.L.E.: Of course you are.

C.A.B.L.E. reaches for his holo-projector, activates it, and an image of Warta begins playing.

~Location Change~

Before Warta starts speaking, we transition to The Galvanized, where Warta on the top deck, preparing to address the Dark Commanders (Minus Rampage, Dragonera, and C.A.B.L.E.), as well as all the Exons


that participated in the construction of the machine. What happens next is reminiscent of a famous speech…

All: …

Shivaire (whisper): I gave him a pop-culture-based inspiration for this speech, despite him hating copyright.

Celestia (whisper): Did he at least alter it?

Shivaire (whisper): For the most part, yes.

Warta: (Clears Throat)

“Today…is the END of humanity. The end of a species that accepts the laws of disorder. At this very moment…on a world not our own, Mankind, after many years, continues to lie to the galaxy! While

secretly supporting the treachery of Syren Englond, and the loathsome Light Side! But, no more! This fierce machine which you have built in Lord Zodiac’s name and honor, upon which we observe, shall bring an end to Earth, its denizens, Englond, and the pretenders of justice that she surrounds herself

with! And when this world becomes our own, all remaining worlds will see our POWER, and the universe will BOW to the Dark Side! And they shall remember this…as the LAST DAY…OF HUMANITY!”

(CHEERS)

Warta: FIRE!

Everyone turns their attention to the machine on the Moon, and watches as the spherical and complete rocket takes launch. Only one window is present, and Dragonera observes, still restrained and silent, as

she draws closer to Earth…

Dragonera: (No! This…This isn’t happening! This is all a bad dream, isn’t it?!)

As the Rocket leaves sight of those on The Galvanized, Zodiac observes on a long-distance camera.

Zodiac: (LAUGH) Such raw power…waiting to be unleashed! What shall I call my new domain? Neo Zochaias? Neo Noctrinus? Or perhaps…Fallen Earth?!

Englond: !!! (YELL)

Englond breaks free of her Cosmic restraints.

B. Rampage: Oh, no you don’t—AH!

Englond punches Rampage so hard, he drops to the ground instantly.

Englond: Save your pathetic talents, Rampage! I have bigger fish to fry!


Zodiac: You’re too late anyway, Englond! This world is mine, and all your friends will die!

Englond: As long as they still live, I still have reason to defend them from the likes of you, Zodiac! (Draws Weapons)

Zodiac: You seek to face me again? It shall end no better for you! (Draws sword)

Englond and Zodiac face off once again, with this duel fiercer than the last. Englond actually manages to pin Zodiac to the floor.

Englond: I will rid the universe of a vile monster!

Zodiac: The only monster here is YOU and your friend, Dragonera! So, share her fate!

Zodiac swiftly counters and gets back up, holding Englond in the air.

Englond: (STRUGGLE)

B. Rampage: (GROAN) Ow…that actually hurt…

Zodiac: Rampage! Open the portal! Send Englond to join her friend!

B. Rampage: Gladly! Enjoy space, Queen! There’s literally plenty of room to Struggle!

(BOOM)

Englond: NO!

Zodiac: Farewell, my hated enemy!

Zodiac chucks Englond into the Portal, and she emerges only a few hundred miles away from the rocket.

Englond: (GASP)

Englond struggles to hold her breath, as she begins to lose oxygen in the vacuum of space, turn pale, and show signs of freezing. Eventually, the rocket comes close enough to where she grabs onto it, and hangs

on for dear life.

Englond: (I…can’t…go…out…like…this…!)

Dragonera: (This isn’t a dream…It’s a Nightmare!)

The rocket is only a few moments away from impacting the Earth.

Dragonera: (I…I’ve failed everyone…!)

Englond: (Just…have…to…hold…out…until…we…reach…the…atmosphere…!)


In New York City below, people are in a panic as what looks to be a meteor approaches their city. The Clock strikes midnight, and the rocket enters the atmosphere…

Dragonera: (NO!)

Englond: (This…This is where it ends…doesn’t it?!)

A few more shots back and forth between the city, the rocket, Dragonera, and Englond, and then…

(BOOM)

Impact. Just as Zodiac explained, the explosion turns from fiery to a cosmic blue, and then to purple, as the Metagene Mists begin to rapidly expand over all of New York City and beyond. Even above the

atmosphere, satellites are picking up the purple cloud forming on the western coast of North America. Citizens panic, and begin to take effects of the mists, turning into monsters driven to the point of

insanity. In the center of the mist, Dragonera manages to break free of her restraints, but topples out of the cockpit. As she lands on solid ground, she begins to take the effects of the mists as well, screaming

consistently and constantly, and starting to glow an unnatural blue. Off to the side, a barely alive Englond crawls over to witness Dragonera speaking only two words…

Dragonera: SAVE…YOURSELVES!

Englond: No…we were too late…!

And then, the horror ensues. Dragonera begins to mutate. Englond gets up and manages to run away as Dragonera grows wings, her arms and legs turn to claws, and her entire form grows bigger and bigger,

mutating into the very same dragon that once held her powers in prehistoric times: A Manakete. A gigantic, black, silver, and purple Manakete dragon. Englond gets on a rooftop, showing signs of already

being affected by the mists herself, and witnesses Dragonera reborn into a monstrosity.

Dragonera: (ROAR)

Englond: (GASP)

Dragonera has lost control. She has mutated into a monster driven long past the point of insanity, and begins bringing chaos. Instead of breathing fire, she breathes the same Purple Metagene Mists in a

destructive fashion, causing more people to mutate into freakish and nightmarish monsters. Elsewhere, the mists leak out into the same locations as before: Egypt, Brazil, China, France, Australia, and

Antarctica. Purple clouds of destruction begin to cover the Earth. An illusion plays out to end the episode with Zodiac laughing his most sinister laugh of all time, and grasping the Earth in the palm of his

hand. No more words are spoken as this dramatic episode draws to a close…
