We have laid out what, we feel, are age appropriate times for subject areas, as a helpful guide for you. First & Second Class: English: NO LONGER THAN 40 minutes Maths: NO LONGER THAN 40 minutes Other subjects: NO LONGER THAN 1 hour As teachers, we know every child is different and that each individual family is facing its own unique challenges at present.
