Photo Caption: Early in December, family and friends gathered at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center, Bridgewater, to celebrate the 6th night of Chanukah. There were a variety of activities; gift wrapping stations, crafts, and even a station to learn how to make your own oil out of olives! They even had stations where you can make and wrap a gift to give to someone for the holidays! They gathered around the table for a treat; there were dreidels to play with, pizza and latkes to eat. The event was open to the community, and together everyone lit the candles on their menorahs and said the Chanukah prayer.
