On 27 th May 2016, Lochaline Little Otters hosted a NSPCC big board game day for both nursery and playgroup children and their parents. There were many different board games set out in the nursery. Some were new games borrowed from the school and some were our favourite games from Lochaline Little Otters. A couple of the children kindly brought their own games in from home to share with everybody else. The weather was really kind to us and even more board games were outside in the garden. These games included a really huge snakes and ladders game where the children themselves were the counters and the dice was big, soft and easy to roll. After all the fun of the board games the children were hungry and their parents joined them for a very special snack. The cheesy snakes and shredded wheat nests had been prepared by Lochaline Little Otters themselves. A very special thank you is owed to Annemie who baked some gorgeous healthy cupcakes for the adults!! The morning was really well attended and Mrs Walter and Mrs Malcolm would like to thank the playgroup children for their participation and all the parents for their great generosity in raising money for the NSPCC.
