Life, what is life Life is a little kitten

And a small little breeze Life is the little fingers that slip into a mitten.

But still, there's more.

Start out in preschool a fun and happy time.Then move into kindergarten

where I'd work on my homework until I got it right. Then in first grade, I learn a penny nickel then a dime.

And In second watch an elephant seal fight.

Now a boy starts to emerge but I can't see him.He has brown hair and his face is kind of dim.

Off to third grade and we get into state and president projectsAnd show them to the school at the end of the year.

Then fourth grade, which was a very challenging time.Because our awesome teachers kept pushing us until we were prime.

Now we are so close to finding out this guy.Just a little bit more and we can try.

Fifth grade, graduation year where you are the oldest.And get lots more privileges.

Also there are middle school applications but they weren't the hardest.Then graduation where everyone is sad, then you move on.

Now I can see clearly who this man is.I know him from somewhere.

Who is he? Oh!, it's me.

I have many hopes and dreams. An architect is what I want to be. To design buildings for the homeless so they don't need to flee. Poverty is one subject that just makes me mad. So I want to give money so that they will not be sad. I would like to travel around the world and look at

the most beautiful architecture. And design a building that will be a sure hit.

I would like to thank my teachers so much for getting me here with their knowledge

And a huge thanks to my awesome parents and a wonderful brother and sister for supporting me and caring for me.

Now I will end and now you know that I will never forget my time here. Now I will leave for the very last time and start something new from all

that was dear.

My Trinity LifeBy: Oliver Barlow

My Trinity experience was like climbing up a hillChallenging, fun, preparing and beautiful

My first day of school in J.K, at the base of my hill Exciting and intimidating,

I was nervous But soon I found some friends who helped me gain confidence

Soon, I moved on to Kindergarten farther up my hill

Kindergarten was different from J.KOn my first day back at school I meet new people

The rest of the was a blur,Studying ponds and much more

I was on to the next part of my hill

On my first day of First Grade I was nervous againBut when my teacher greeted me, I felt comforted

For the rest of the year we did fun math packets and the amazing wolf project

After a fast and fun year I was on to my fourth part of my hill

Second grade was a blastLearning about dragons and dinosaurs

Making time capsulesI had a great time

Now my hill was getting steeper in the upper grades

In third gradeWe had fun learning about presidents

We learned about the choices they madeAnd History they created

Now I was farther up my hill

Fourth grade a low stress environment that was so funSpeaking about famous Californians

, Native tribes, and sustainability I was prepared for fifth grade

Now I was so far up my hill I could see the top

Fifth grade was intimidating even at the peakBut I had a great time

Learning about colonial times, civil rights, and WWII Took me to the top

I am finally here at my hill’s peak looking at what I've done on this hill

But I could not have done without a few special peopleThe faculty all helped me get my great education

My parents and grandparents tooThank you so much

Also some people, like my sisterAre great role-models for me

They are the people I hope I can beThey taught how to be the person I am

I would like to thank my sister and her friends

At my first graduation I was quite bored Fidgeting in my seat

My Experience at TrinityBy: Kendall Castelo

 Trinity is and always will be a special place to me.One of my favorite memories at trinity is 2nd grade inventions.I loved this project because I love making things and I love art.I made a robot that would clean classroom supplies up.Another favorite memory is the Christmas pageant. I was the donkey in the pageant, the donkey was my first choice, I was thrilled!

I have some hopes and dreams for when I get olderWhen I grow up I want to be a professional horseback rider I have a huge passion for horses.When I am sad at school and stressed outI think about horses  they make me feel relaxed and happy.

I want to thank all the teachers for everything that they have done for me and how much I have grown.Also I want to thank all the specials for having all fun activities planned.All of the teachers at Trinity have been so helpful, kind, and caring.

One of my favorite grades was fourth grade because I felt like I was ready for fifth grade and I didn't feel stressed out.When I was in fourth grade I was nervous about fifth grade.My fourth grade teachers made me feel that was not going to happen.I feel ready for middle school and I'm not nervous like I was before. My fifth grade teachers helped me go through the middle school process comfortably and not stressful.

One of my goals when I go off to middle school is to still keep in touch with my friends.When I go to middle school I will not be will all my friends.I will be sad, but it doesn't mean I still can't have them as my friendI am sad that I will leave trinity but happy that I'm going to a new school.I know that I will enjoy my new school just as much, and have so many memories there too.I think going to a new environment will be very exciting and a good experience for me.I will never forget trinity and how much I've grown and succeeded.

Do my eyes deceive me? Is this just one big mirage? No, this is my last time standing at this podium.

I have been here for 9 years.The only days i wasnt here was rather when i was sick or on the weekend

I will never forget my great memories, but cherish and celebrate them.

Jk was the best, i remember having an awesome loft we would play on. we had no work, all we did wasplaying with blocks and glitter glue.

Kindergarten had workbut I was up for the challenge.

First grade, learning about the mysterious wolves. We also learned about planets, I did a report on IO, a wonderful moon.

2nd grade! I remember my first spelling testhow nervous I was. I studied 24/7.

3rd grade, Lewis and Clark and states was awesome!  We also learned a lot of math.

4th gradelearning about how to sustain a community Then it was summer,

preparing for the ordeal of the middle school process. hard work helped me succeed and I got into a great school. It was tough, having extra homework, and having tutoring three days a week.It was a big hassle. Having homework on summer days.

Fifth grade,the homestretch and I've made it. My favorite part was the debatesFun day was also really fun, I love learning about new themes and playing activities.

My advice to those who are younger than me,

work is hard but you are so relieved when you are done. Don’t let anyone get in your way. Believe in yourself, and that's all that matters

I loved music, library, spanish, art, and especially PE. I've improved in every one of these. Music, also really fun, learning about the different types of music. Library, getting history lessons and creating new worlds in my mind. In art, my favorite type is perspective art.

PE is my all time favorite. Running, jumping, playing, and sharing laughs.

I loved having funny moments with my friends, I also loved the GEO B! I finished in 2nd out of 40.

Thank you mom and dad, your infinite priceless love allows me to go to trinity.

I have mixed emotions, excitement, melancholy, and much more.  It is hard to leave this home, but I'm majestically spreading my wings, and building a new nest at my new school.

Hello I would like to say a few words about my great experience at Trinity

I would like to start off with some amazing memories  my first day in third grade;

starting a new path at a new school. Even on my first day everybody was very comforting

and made me feel welcome.

Third grade was a blast it was super fun

I will never forget it. my favorite projects in third grade

the lewis and clark and their epic journey. I will never forget third grade.

fourth grade. My favorite project was the historical california figures project.

I wrote a page on Steve Wozniak the co-founder of apple.I will never forget that fun project we did in fourth grade.

Now moving on to fifth grade, it was one of my favorite years at trinity. Getting towards the middle of fifth grade

we did an awesome project where we got to live and spend a day like kids in the colonial times.

Some advice to younger students is never give up on your dreams and no matter how old you are

Some of my hopes and dreams are to one day live miles away from everybody and live a nice peaceful life.

I also hope that countries will figure out a peaceful way to resolve conflicts.

I see that if everybody here follows their heart they can will have a bright future.

Finally, here at lastThe leader the, one everyone looks up to.Fifth grade! AAAAHHHHH!!Being responsible and looked up to.My class ventured what it was like in court.Scary and pressured but seriously realistic.Then there were plays and Shakespeare.Dramatic and exciting.Debates.Decisions.Words.

I may just be another person,but hear my advice. Raise your ambitions. Go out there and explore. This is your time to be take your chances and be a kid. Enjoy Elementary school while you can, because when you leave this school, it won't be the same. Trust me, I know.

I was born in New York.At 1 1/2,I moved to Connecticut. At 2 ½,I moved to St. Louis, Missouri. 7 years later,Moving to California was way different. I went from hurricanes, to endless tornados and floods, to catastrophic drought. What a great way to start my life.

Just remember,

That you always need to look on the bright side.That's when one of my best friend Peter Hanson comes in.My class has been focusing on middle school,But the fantastic Peter Hanson has bravely faced more than just middle school.Think of him when you feel upset.

I would like to thank all the teachers supporting me during my time here.I would like to thank my parents for always being with me.I would like to thank my friends for making me laugh.

Wow, it feels like just yesterday I walked in the door to JK for the very first time, and now I’m graduating 5th grade. I have so many memories. In JK we made baking soda volcanoes, read in the loft and had 3rd grade reading buddies. I always looked forward to seeing mine. In kindergarten I read words and sentences for the first time. In 1st, I learned the “ There is no “a” in they rule”. After that, in 2nd grade I researched dinosaurs and made inventions. Then 3rd grade was the year I went up to the upper campus and finally got the title, “big kid.” That was the year that I did my president project on Franklin D. Roosevelt. I also learned long division. And I got to be the older reading buddy to a kid from JK. In 4th grade I learned how to write 5- paragraph essays and do my Mission project on San Rafael Archangel. Finally, last but not least, there was 5th grade when I wrote my civil rights essay and learned so much. I can’t believe I did all of this. I feel so proud of myself and accomplished. I’m going off to middle school next year and starting a whole new journey. It is incredible how much Trinity has done for me and I am so thankful. All the way from day one, you have been there supporting me always, I’ll never forget that. You have helped me become a tougher, braver, happier, kinder, and all around better person in too many ways to count. You have taught me to look fear in the eye and then punch it, right then and there in the jaw.“ Take that fear.” I would also like too give a big shout out too Mr. C and my parents. Thank you Mr. C for being the greatest P.E. teacher there is, and thank you to my parents for sending me too such an amazing, fantastic, wonderful, can’t-be-beat elementary school. I don’t know what I ever would have done without you Trinity. Now later in my life when people ask me what elementary school I went to, I will shout the name loud, and proud. Trinity School. Thanks a million Trinity. You will always be missed, and I will never, ever, forget you.

At Trinity I have a lot of great memories. My best memory is when I made my first friend.

When I came to trinity in second grade I didn’t have any friends.

I tried to be nice to people but thought my classmates still didn’t like me.I asked my parents for help.My mom invited a kid named Liam over.

When he was at my house my mom told us that our older brothers went to preschool together.Liam and I played together too, This is how we became best friends.

I want to thank all of the wonderful teachers I had.Third grade getting the amazing gift of gibby.Fourth Grade- the gift of writingFifth grade- the gift of finishing strong.

I have many hopes and dreams for the future. First is stay in touch with my friends. Also I would like to become a better lacrosse player, Lastly, solve some of the problems our parents and their generation left for us. Like global warming.

I have a lot of fun memories from Trinitythat I'd love to share with you.My Trinity journey started in pre-school. I will never forget the timewhen my Dad came to school and we built a wooden plane which I still have in my room. That plane is important to mebecause it reminds me of the fun I had in preschool

In kindergarten, the whole class and Imade a river through the sandbox.Working together to make that river reminds me of all the good friends I made at Trinity.

My favorite 1st grade memory is the wolf project.I thought the wolf project was interstingbecause I learned how cool wolves are.The wolf project was important to mebecause it was my first big project and also because I love animals.

In 2nd grade, I discovered my love of science.The dinosaur study and the inventions were my favorite projects.I also remember the elephant seal field trip.They were important to me because they are all about science,and as I said, I really love science.

In 3rd grade I played at recess with the big kids, including my cool brother! I remember dreading poetry, butreading poems turned out to be fun! Because my teachers made it fun.

4th grade was a hard year but a good year.My teachers challenged me to improve my weakest subject, writing.

Even though it was hard, their dedication paid off for me.Now I don't struggle much with writing.

Finally, after 7 years at Trinity, I started 5th grade.This year, the teachers never stopped pushing us to be better.The hard work was worth it, for now I am much betterat reading, writing, math, and thinking through problems.

My hopes and dreams for the future are thatI continue to learn more science,so I can help solve big problems like global warming and pollution.

In closing, I would like to thank my parents, my caretakersand all my great teachers for all they have done for me.They helped me grow up and pass obstacles along the way.I am confident and ready for middle school,and I would not be the person I am without them.

My advice for younger students is not to stress about hard work.Challenge yourself because the hard work pays off,and you will be better for it.

My Trinity Adventureby Nicholas Occhipinti

Trinity was a crazy adventure for me and my classmates. It all started when I was born Both my sisters were at Trinity so I have been coming here since then.

I remember my first day of preschool Meeting my best friend,We are still friends today.

Then JK doing no work but just playing with toy cars and making race tracks.

Then Kindergarten,

which was a big step up to actual work.

Then first grade with our awesome challenging math packetsand wolf project we learned about where wolves live,what they eatand much more.

Next I made it to 2nd grade where we made magnificent inventions.And mine was a boxLiterally a box! it was supposed to help the world in some way.My box would fix anything you put in it.

3rd grade was very challengingThe work got harderAnd I figured out I was dyslexic.But I couldn't be in a better place.

And if you have dyslexia don't let it hold you back.Remember It is a way of learning.

In 4th grade our teachers taught us about making the world a sustainable place so when we are adultsthe world will maybe be how it was years ago.

Finally the grand 5th grade We learned a lot about historyIt was like we went back in timeWe were going through historywe also had so much fun on the camping trip!

And I will never forget the specials science, Spanish, Art, PE, Music,

I would like to give a thanks to my familyfor helping me through this whole middle school process.

I hope that people will stop harming nature. If we succeedthen we can bring nature back by protecting it

which will bring it back

My years here have been great.  Going on camping trips with my classmates

my classmates and I having bad times and the good onesbut most important is the most enjoyable memories that I had with my

friends

In third grade, my first year.  my teacher was nice and kind and was always their to help me ryme  

The bigger fifth graders intimidating us when we played football.  Also our hamster Gibby was really fun to play with.

fourth grade camping trip was just greatwe learned about plants we learned new chants,

but the poison ivy wasn't very fun.  One of the chants was about nature man,

who was one of our counselors.  Willy, Evan, and Liam, made it up and then made a song about it.  

It was cool, but they sang all the time on the bus back home.  luke and Evan waking me up in the middle of the night wasn't very

fun.

On  fifth grade camping trip we shared funny jokes, and the funniest plays you would have ever seen in your life.  

But more importantly was our great field trips.  One great one was the exploratorium,

there we got to use cool stuff about science, like electricity and color and lots  of other cool things.  

best of all was when we went on top of a bridge in front of the place and the bridge had mist go all over it.  

We ran around all over the bridge wet and damp but had a great time.

Our PE teacher is awesome, he makes cheesy but funny a jokes, and makes the best games.  

My personal favorite is chicken in the coop.  how you play is that there is a half line

and if you run across the line the other team can tag you and you half to go back.  When you cross the line

you try to make it into a circle that has a bunch of balls.  the person has to go into the circle grab a ball and go back

without anyone tagging you.

Now my years here are done and my new journey is upon me.

I have only been at Trinity for two yearsbut have fantastic memories!

Some fun memories are:The camping trip with my friends because we got to chat,The Christmas craft fair was amazing because of the cool materialsFun day was the best when we got wet on the big toy!Those are my best and most memorable memories

Some of my hopes and dreams are: to be a geologistTo learn about rocks and mineralsAs a geologist I could help the drought byFinding an underground water source

At the beginning a bird that was still in its egg. When I came here during Kindergarten

I met this girl who my parents knew, and we became incredible friends and we still are today.

Actually Graduating 5th grade! Moving on to middle school!I don’t know what is going to happen next,But I'm pretty sure it's going to be for the better, And not for the worse.And now I know the secretI feel ready for it.

I should never be afraid of moving on and doing amazing things.Being a part of Trinity school.

Has been the best thing that has ever happened to me,

Kindergarten,Learning to read with three amazing teachers.Being terrified of the 2nd graders.They seemed so big!

1st grade,Meeting a new girl,And really disliking her.But now we are the best of friends.

2nd grade,Everyone making such unique inventionsMy invention, an amazing privacy screen.I loved my creation.

3rd grade,Memorizing such great poems,Being scared, when reciting them in front of my class.And I could never forget about our class pet,Gibby the hamster, always running away,Chewing up wires and books.

4th grade,So nervous having to go on the camping trip,I had never gone camping before!It ended up being the best trip ever.

5th grade,Freaking out about being the oldest in the school,Being everybody's role model,A big responsibility.But most of all,I was afraid of this day.Because today, my wonderful and amazing experience at Trinity is over.

My advice for younger kids is:If you start something, don't ever quit.

Always follow your dreams,And don't ever let anyone push you down.                                                   

Just Part of the Journey By Ava Thompson

Some days I read TolkienThese books remind me of many things in my lifeI am swept away To a mystical land A small hobbit On a dangerous journey Even the smallest can do a difficult task

I think of school The projects I didEven my favorites Like book projectsor Family storiesEven my favorites were difficultI am a hobbit sometimes, doing a difficult taskFinishing a project,Is like destroying an evil ring It is a victoryLike my time at Trinity.Each project completedI victoriously Destroyed an obstacle.I had fun times at Trinitylike the Fun DayThen, fun times could be little.Like laughing with a classmateAnd conflicts, tooThey  came quick  and suddenNo warning Even though it was a challenge, it made me strongerI know  I will get through the conflicts in lifeHappiness will comeThe light at the end of the tunnel All will be good with the world in the end I know that that the difficult parts of life will be solvedIt is all just part of the journey.
