John William Nash September 11, 1895 – December 10, 1926 JOHN NASH DIES EARLY THIS A. M. FORMER RESIDENT OF NEAR TOCSIN DIES AT WAPAKONETA, OHIO Relatives in the vicinity of Tocsin received word today of the death of John Nash, 31, a former resident of that vicinity, who passed away at 2 a. m. at his home in Wapakoneta, Ohio, following an illness of two weeks from blood poisoning which developed from a cut on his arm. The poison spread to his lungs and caused his death. The deceased was born near Tocsin in the Emmaus neighborhood on September 11, 1895, the son of Reuben and Bessie Sowards Nash. His marriage to Genevieve Rupright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Rupright of near Tocsin, occurred eleven years ago in July. The widow and four children survive. The children are: Madge, Ralph, Ellen and Margaret, all at home; four brothers, Eilhu Nash, Harry Nash and Donald Nash of Tocsin, Virgil Nash of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Ed Hanni, Wapakoneta, Ohio and Mrs. Ernest Schlemmer, west of Ossian. Charles and William Nash of Bluffton are uncles of the deceased. Funeral arrangements have not been made, but it is expected that the body will be returned to the home of the parents near Tocsin.
