Congratulations on getting through another week of remote learning. It is not easy working from home and not seeing your friends. Remember to have some fun and get out and get some fresh air…within your 5Km of course!

I have some more activities for you to try this week if you have your classwork completed.

The following are just suggestions of some areas that you might like to further develop in yourself. But remember they are merely suggestions as I know that you already have a busy class schedule.

ORAL LANGUAGE:Let’s get talking! Maybe you might like to choose some of these topics to discuss at the dinner table

BAKING

For those of you who would like to try this next activity it serves 2 purposes: It revises your procedural genre and it helps you to follow instructions.

This is a great tactile activity which promotes hand eye coordination, fine motor skills and so much more!

As well as all of the above, it is fun and tastes delicious!

GROSS MOTOR SKILLS:

Check out this activity to keep you moving and to get those gross motor skills done.

Choose your favourite sport, food, friend and exercise while spelling your choices.

Try this game to get some exercise and to learn to follow instructions carefully.

GARDEN BIRDS:

Check out these birds in your garden. Tick off the ones you manage to see.

Maybe you could use your fine motor skills to make a bird feeder for them during this cold weather.

Why not develop your hand eye co-ordination and your fine motor skills making a bird feeder

for these garden birds during this cold spell of weather.
