Mission of Jesus Elective

For the love - Sock DriveFrom February 3rd to February 17th, Debbie Cabrera our Daycare Director, will be coordination a sock drive for those in need this time of year. There will be collection receptacles around the building during those weeks for anyone to drop off donations at any time. It is that time of year again for Pre K signups at the Delaware Family Daycare! If you are interested in getting your pre k child enrolled, be sure to visit delawaregrace.org and go to the Daycare & Preschool page. Under “New Student Info” you’ll find an enrolment checklist along with enrolment forms.

Starting on February 2nd a new elective will be offered on Sunday mornings before service. Jeff Edler will be leading this new elective called “The Mission of Jesus” and will run until March 8th. This six week series will open our heart’s to, better equip us to share the gospel, become more like Christ, that will be made evident in your life and to encourage you to be more like Jesus in your community. Please feel free to join us!

Spring 2020 Grief ShareThis is a weekly care group for those who have lost loved ones with a DVD series featuring top experts on grief and recovery topics. A companion workbook has been specifically created to help you move through the grieving process and give encouragement throughout the week. Workbooks cost $15 which is due the first night. Grief Share meets on Wednesday evenings from 7pm – 8:30pm, starting February 5th with the last meeting being April 22nd at Grace Polaris Church located at 8724 Olde Worthington Road, Westerville, OH 43082.

Comin up on February 8th at 6pm here at the church, the men’s ministry will be hosting a Love Your Wife Date Night event! This is going to be a wonderful opportunity for the men to show their wives some extra love this holiday season with an evening of good food, community and entertainment. The cost is $20 per couple which will include everything. You won’t be able to find a better deal around town! Be sure to stop by the men’s ministry stand in the lobby after service to sign up today!

On February 16th, Venture Student Ministries is having a Bowling Night at Penn Lanes. This will be in place of that week’s Youth Group and will be starting at 6:30pm. The cost per student is only going to be $6 which will cover the cost of bowling, shoes and food for the night. Grace Kids Winter Camp

Women’s GatheringBack by popular demand we will have another women’s gathering coming up on Tuesday, February 25th here at the church starting at 6:30pm. It will be an evening of connecting with each other and enjoying good food brought by one another. We will have a few creative games which you can watch or participate in. If you simply want to come and meet new wonderful women of Delaware Grace to chat and build up this awesome community then please join us! Feel free to also bring a friend! Bake SaleVenture Student Ministries is putting together a bake sale before and after service Sunday, February 9th to help raise money for scholarships. This is a big ministry opportunity to invest in, that will help students who may need assistance to attend events and outreach opportunities such as the Momentum Youth Conference that meets every summer. This is probably the tastiest giving opportunity that we’ll have all year! So, make sure that you’ll be here February 9th for the Venture Student Bake Sale!

Grace Kids Winter Camp is right around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited about it! On February 21st, we will be heading out to the Heartland Conference Center for the weekend where our 3rd – 5th graders will dig deep into God’s word, build community with their peers and have tons of fun along the way!
