DRAFT St. Brendan Parish Stewardship Commission Minutes March 28, 2015 Present: Julie Spencer (co-chair) Ed Spencer, Mark Patterson, Carlos Villarreal, Jo Hansen, Bob Walsh, Deacon Jose Blakely, Chris Gutierrez-Flynn (parish council), John Phillips (staff, departed after discussing the phone-a-thon) Absent: Bill Nash (chair), Marie Hedden 9:10 Meeting called to order by Julie Spencer. Prayer led by Carlos Villarreal The minutes of the January 24, 2015 meeting were reviewed and approved. No meeting was held in February 2015. ACTION ITEMS from the January meeting. 1.) Phone-a thon. John Phillips stated that the phone-a thon probably will not be held until after mid-April. Mark Patterson volunteered to approach John Phillips to determine what help he needs to make the phone-a-thon happen. (Open) 2.) Stewardship as a Parish. Mark Patterson volunteered to query John Phillips to determine if the notice to parishioners announcing that Stewardship as a Parish had been placed in the parish bulletin. (Open) 3.) Time and Talent Speaker. The talks given by Rosa Romero with help from her daughter, Chrysty Ann Romero were well received. (Closed) 4.) Parish Ministry Resource Guide. Julie Spencer will retransmit the guide to commission members. (Open) 5.) Parish 5 Year Plan. (Open) 6.) Ministry Fair. Fair was well attended by various commission and committee members and well received by parishioners. There were 143

The Stewardship Commission retreat is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Camano Island.
