The Munro brothers had a model built of a canoe sterned ringer, which they sent to Walter Reekie which showed the layout that they wanted (Walter had only built his first ringer, Faustina CN224 in the previous year, 1928). Walter then built the boat, strangely the brothers did not come across for the launching, this being performed by Maude Weir, Walters secretary. Once the boat was completed, they came across and collected her. She was just over 48 ft and fitted with a Bolinders 40hp. This was swapped for a Gleniffer 72 hp within 5 years. The cost of the boat was £1,000
