App Invention Partner Activity

 Your job is to invent an App that can be used to help solve a problem in the Central Bucks community. Imagine that you and your partner are entrepreneurs and inventors similar to the young people in the video.

Step 1: Brainstorm a problem in the Central Bucks Community. Focus on problem that you are passionate about and choose an issue to improve.

Step 2: Research! Use the internet to find out more about the problem.

o Take notes on the problem you would like to address. Use the questions below to help you.

How can you use technology to help find out more about the issue?

Using your research, INVENT A NEW APP   designed to help others learn about the problem you are trying to fix. There are two components of this project:

Step 3: Create a sketch of your app on a separate sheet of paper of what your app might look like! How would you present this to the community of Central Bucks? There is an example of flowchart sketches below (Must have 6 drawings/pages for app)

Step 4: Write out a one-page(double-spaced) plan for the app which includes the following questions:

o What is the problem?o Who does the problem affect?o How will my invention solve the problem?o What would it take to make this invention a reality?o Who would I approach for help in making my invention
