1st Fire

1. After sketching the images on the plate (30cm X40cm), the lotus leaves and the patterns on the back of the fishes are masked using the resist.

2. After the resist is dried up, paint all the stones and the body parts of the carps where there are no resist covered.

3. The stones are painted using Mixing Yellow, Sienna, Light Green, Black Green and Rich Brown at an appropriate rate of mixing for each. The body parts of the carps excluding where the resist is covered are colored with Gray, Orange and Red. Seminar oil is used.

4. The eyes are painted with Light Green and Black. 5. The resist is removed and the first firing is performed.

◎ 2nd Fire

1. Mask the other way around leaving the leaves and the patterns on the back of the carps blank this time. (The masking isn’t shown in the picture.)

2. After waiting for the resist dry-up, using Copaiba Oil, Mixing Yellow, Orange and Red, create dusting technique for the carps’ patterns.

3. As well as the patterns above, The leaves are also created by the dusting technique using Copaiba Oil, Lemon Yellow, Light Green, Siena, and Black Green.

4. Give lights and shades to the stones to create the atmosphere of being in the water. Use Black Green, Rich Brown and Black to show the contrast. Seminar oil is used.

5. Use a chip- off technique for the two corners that are placed diagonally, high left and the low right.

6. The second firing is performed.

Third firing

1. Paint over the dusted patterns using Red.2. Give the mixture of lights and shades on the leaves using

Sienna, Red, Black Green, and Rich Brown. Balsam Oil is used.3. The water drops on the leaves and around are created with the Copaiba Oil and Texture.

4. Remove the chip-offs from the corners of the plate, and apply liquid gold on them.

5. Third firing is processed.

1. To complete the art work, brush Magic Crystal on top of the gold, on the two corners, to show the luxury.
