Greetings and Peace to You from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!Even through the challenges of 2020; COVID-19, civil and racial unrest, a highly contested

presidential election, and lots of change, we made it to 2021! This was accomplished with God’s help and continued blessings. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil,  to give you a future and a hope.” I believe that God has wonderful plans for Hedgesville United Methodist Church. I eagerly await being able to gather together after a Sunday service for a potluck and being able to restart all of our ministries and groups. It is my prayer that 2021 would be a time of revival, renewal, and growth.

In the meantime, I want to encourage everyone to continue growing in your faith by reading your Bibles and spending time with the Lord in prayer. January 1st is a great time to begin a Bible reading plan!

We served about 120 families who were delighted with the turkeys or small hams and it was cold for the workers. God blessed us in that the snow came early enough for the plowing and for us to  work around.
