MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFASTSSEPTEMBER 10 6:30 AM

We invite all men available, to join us on even numbered Tuesday mornings for a Men’s Prayer Breakfast. Bro. Josh will be making breakfast and Bro. Brice will lead a study on the book “Radical” by David Platt, followed by a time of prayer.

WEDNESDAY MEALSBEGINNING SEPTEMBER 11 4:30 – 6:00 PM

We would like to encourage everyone to join us Wednesday afternoons beginning at 4:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall for some home cooking. We understand the hustle of Wednesday nights, so we are offering a healthy alternative to the monotony of drive-thru. Meals are $5/plate with a $15 cap on families of 4 or more. A signup sheet along with a menu is available on the church foyer on the counter each week. As these are catered meals, please be sure to sign up for the meal by 5:00 PM the Monday prior to the meal. Payments can be made the day of the meal.

If you would be interested in helping with the preparation & service of the meals, we will have a short overview meeting led by Carolyn Whitener in the Fellowship Hall tomorrow evening at 5:30 PM.

GAME NIGHTSEPTEMBER 12 6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP HALL

Every second Thursday of the month, we meet for fellowship and fun. Please bring an entrée or appetizer to share and your favorite board or card game. Everyone is welcome!

BAPTIST STUDENT MINISTRY LUNCHEONSEPTEMBER 18

Once again, we will host a luncheon for the students at the Baptist Student Ministry in San Marcos. Peggy Graxiola and crew are planning a sloppy joe lunch complete with chips and cookies, but we need cookies! Please bring your cookie donations to the church no later than September 17. Any cookies you choose will be perfect. Please label them “BSM” and leave them in the church kitchen.

RISE AGAINST HUNGER: MEALS WITH IMPACTOCTOBER 19 9:00 AM

Rise Against Hunger is an organization dedicated to ending world hunger by 2030 and they are doing it one pre-packaged meal at a time. We are honored to have partnered with them to do our part in helping their ministry. Saturday, October 19, we will have a boxing day; packaging and preparing 1000 meals for shipment and we are looking for volunteers! Children are welcome to come help. STATE MISSIONS WEEK OF PRAYER & OFFERING

SEPTEMBER 8-15Today begins our Texas Missions week of prayer and offering, also known as the Mary Hill Davis Offering. This is a time for Texas Baptists to come together to see the mission field in our own backyard and ask God’s blessing on mission efforts that exist from north to south, east to west. All proceeds will go to support Texas Missions – split between the two associations with which our church is affiliated. Please be in prayer about what God would have you give to the ministries & people impacting our great state.
