MURDER CASE OF PS OKHLA INDL AREA SOLVED.

Major Highlights: A blind murder with dacoity case solved. Ten accused person arrested. Qualis used in crime recovered. The arrestees are robbers involved in several cases.

With the arrest of accused persons namely Raj Kumar S/O Nihal Singh (21yrs.), Santu S/O Sh. Betal Singh (24Yrs), Hottam Singh S/O Sh. Pop Singh (20Yrs), Omprakash S/O Sh. Pop Singh (25Yrs) , Manoj Kumar S/o Rakesh (30yrs), Rashid S/o Sahabuddin (23 Yrs), Salimuddin S/o Sahabuddin (32 Yrs), Saleem S/o Mukim (24 Yrs), Javad Khan S/o Dulare Khan (29 Yrs) and Sarvender Yadav S/o Jaivir Singh (21 Yrs) joint team of Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur and PS Okhla Indl. Area have solved a blind murder with dacoity case. The incident took place on 14.9.2011 in the area of Police Station Okhla Indl. Area.

INCIDENT

      In the intervening night of 13/14.9.2012  at about 2.30 AM, seven persons who were in a qualis car reached near a warehouse at S-94, Okhla Phase-II, New Delhi and entered in the warehouse. They 

murdered the security guard and looted more than 7 quintals copper and cables. In this regard a case vide  FIR  No.  295/12 U/S  394/302IPC was   registered  at  PS  Okhla   Indl.  Area and investigation taken up by Inspector Kanchan Lal Meena.  As the case was very sensitive, several teams of South East District were working on the case as per directions of undersigned. Team of Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur comprising SHO/Pul Prahladpur, Inspr. Dharam Dev, Inspr./ATO Manoj Kumar,  SI Kishore Kumar,   SI Nagender Nagar, ASI Dilbag Singh, HC Naim, HC   Sharwan, HC Bhal Singh, HC Manoj, Ct Parveen,  Ct. Manoj,  Ct. Ranbir, Ct. Vijay, Ct.Anuj and Ct. Ajay  was also working on this case under the close  supervision  of  ACP/ Ambedkar  Nagar.  The  team made pains   taking  efforts  and   interrogated several persons involved in such type of crime. The CCTV Footage in which the faces of a few robbers were appearing was also shown to various persons including the informers.    During the course HC Sarwan and Ct Parveen of Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur got some secret inputs that one Manoj Kumar S/O Rakesh Kumar R/O Gali  No. 12, Hari Nagar, Badarpur, New Delhi  is  having a Qualis  Car and is involved in such type of activities. . The information was further developed by the team. There after a team comprising of Insp. V.K.P.S. Vadav SHO/OIA, SI Sanjay Bhatt I/C PP OIE, SI Mukesh Kumar. HC Neeraj, HC Manoj, HC Hukma Ram, Ct. Shaninder, Ct. Harender, Ct. Indraj, Ct. Omkar, Ct. Surender, Ct. Rajesh, Ct. Naresh and Ct. Sonu  also joined  the team of PS Pul Prahladpur.  This team apprehended Manoj Kumar from the area of Jaitpur and recovered Qualis Car No. DL-6CW-3000 which was involved in the commission of crime. At his instance the master-mind of this crime namely Rajkumar S/O Sh. Nihal Singh R/o Vill. Kankarpur, PS -Nibroha, Distt. Agra (UP), Hottam Singh S/O Sh. Pop Singh (20 Yrs) R/O Vill.  Aalampur, PS -Nibroha, Distt. Agra (UP),   Omprakash S/O Sh. Pop Singh (25Yrs) R/o Vill. Aalampur, PS -Nibroha, Distt.  Agra (UP), RAkesh Kumar @ Santoo S/o  Sh. Betal Singh R/o Vill.  Kankarpur, PS -Nibroha, Distt. Agra (UP), who were involved in commission of crime were arrested and during sustained interrogation they discussed, that the robbed copper stripes and copper wires bundles were sold to different Junk Dealers and at their instance five junk dealers namely Rashid   S/o   Sahabuddin   R/o   R-24,   Sourabh   Vihar,   Jaitpur,     Salimuddin   S/o   Sahabuddin   R/o   R-24, Sourabh Vihar, Jaitpur, Saleem S/o Mukim R/o K-437, New Seelam Pur Delhi, Javad Khan S/o Dulare Khan R/o K-178, New Seelampur Delhi and Sarvender Yadav S/o Jaivir Singh R/o RZ-482, Gali No. 13, TKD Exnt. New Delhi were  also arrested and the robbed copper and wires were recovered from them.  

INVESTIGATION AND MODUS OPERRANDI All the accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation and during interrogation they confessed commission of crime. During interrogation the main accused Raj Kumar disclosed that he came to Delhi in search of job about 9-10 months ago and some of his known persons namely Hottam Singh, Pappu, RAkesh Kumar @ Santoo and Heera were also working as electricians in Delhi and were also residing at Aali Vihar and nearby area. Om Prakash and Hottam were working in Variscon Engineering Pvt. Ltd. S-94, Okhla Indl. Area Ph-II. Due to low income they started stealing copper wires from under construction buildings /sites by wrapping it on their stomach and sell it to Rashid at Sourabh Vihar, Jaitpur. After some time, Rashid induced them to steal the copper cables in large quantity. Raj Kumar contacted one Manoj kumar for providing his Toyta Qualis for transporting the looted articles and they all hatched a conspiracy to rob the warehouse situated at S-94, Okhla Indl. Area as huge quantity of copper strips and copper wires are stored. Om Prakash provided the sketch of warehouse and apprissed the location of CCTV Cameras installed in warehouse. On 13.09.12 Jitender and Hottam went to the warehouse and did recee of the area. One Satyabir @ Satte was also called from Agra to commit the dacoity. On 13-14/09/12,night they came to S-94 Okhla Indl Area in Toyota Qualis No DL-6CW-3000. They jumped the gate and overpowered the security guard. They gagged and tied the hands and legs of security guard and killed him. Thereafter they robbed the warehouse. They took

away approx. 7 7 quintals copper wire s and copper stripes. Subsequently they sold the same to Rashid and others in Rs. 2.57 lakhs and distributed the amount.

Cases worked out:

(1)During investigation the accused persons have disclosed their involvements in case FIR No. 143/12 U/S 380 IPC PS Greater Kailash New Delhi.

(2)They have also confessed to be involved in a dacoity committed in Gurgaon.

ONE PERSON INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF HEROIN ARRESTED. 1.2 KGs OF FINE QUALITY HEROIN SEIZED. PRICE OF HEROIN IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET APPROXIMATELY RS.

ONE CRORE AND TWENTY LAKHS.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Kuldeep Singh, consisting of SI Sunil Jain, HC Mukesh Kumar, HC Mahesh, HC Yogesh, Const. Kheta Ram and Const. Rajender under the supervision of Sh. Bir Singh, ACP Narcotics and overall supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, Addl. DCP/Crime has apprehended one person involved in trafficking of drugs and has recovered 1.2 KGs of fine quality Heroin. The Heroin recovered is worth Rs. One Crore and Twenty Lakhs (Approximately) in the International Market.

An information was received on 02/10/2012 by Inspr. Kuldeep Singh that a person namely Prahlad Meena, resident of Rajasthan, is indulging in sale and supply of Heroin and Opium in UP, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. The information also revealed that Prahlad had earlier been arrested in Delhi for violation of NDPS Act and after his release from prison, he is supplying Opium and Heroin through his carriers namely Pawan, Bilas and Babloo. The information was further developed and it was revealed that Pawan would be coming near DSOI Club, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi to deliver a huge consignment of Heroin to one of the clients of Prahlad Meena in the morning.

CRIME BRANCH

Subsequently, a trap was laid around DSOI Club, Dhaula Kuan and at about 6:45 AM, one person namely Pawan Kumar Meena aged 42 years s/o Prabhu Lal Meena r/o Village Khohra, PS Chhipa Baraut, PO Banjari, District Barran, Rajasthan was apprehended. On his search, 1.2 Kgs of fine quality Heroin was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 239/12 dated 02.10.2012 u/s 21 of NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.

Accused Pawan was subjected to sustain interrogation and it was revealed that Pawan is 42 years old. He has three brothers and one sister. He has studied up to sixth standard in Banjari. He dropped out at the behest of his parents. His father was a farmer. The family owned agricultural land in native village and adjoining area. His parents expired in 1991. After the death of the parents, all brothers started living separately. Due to loss in agriculture, Pawan started working as carrier for local opium and Heroin suppliers. He used to get handsome amount for this work. Suraj, the nephew of Pawan resides in village Ladpuria which is about 4 Kms. away from the native village of Pawan. During his visit to nephew, Pawan met one Bilas who introduced Pawan to Prahlad Meena, the drug trafficker. Pawan started working for Prahlad on commission basis. On 02.10.2012, Pawan came to Delhi to supply a huge consignment of Heroin to a contact of Prahlad but was caught red handed.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.

NARELA POLICE ARRESTED TWO SHARP SHOOTERS INVOLVED IN MURDER CASE AND RECOVERED ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL USED IN COMMISSION OF CRIME FROM THEIR

POSSESSION

HIGHLIGHTS:- Two accused namely Washeem S/o Sh. Sher Deen R/o H. No. 20-A, Village-Kureni,

Narela, Delhi and Washeem S/o Rasheed R/o H.No. 113, New Basti, Kureni, Narela, Delhi arrested.

One Country made Pistol (used in commission of crime) recovered.

BRIEF FACTS:-

With the arrest of two accused persons namely Washeem S/o Sh. Sher Deen R/o H. No. 20-A, Village Kureni, Narela, Delhi and Washeem S/o Sh. Rasheed R/o H. No. 113, New Basti Kureni, Narela, Delhi, the staff of PS-Narela worked out a sensational case of murder in which one Riasuddin was murdered in the night of 27.09 12. One country made pistol on the pointing out of Washeem s/o Sher Deen used in the commission of crime has also been recovered vide case FIR No.531/12 dated 28.09.2012 u/s 302/34 IPC P.S. Narela, Delhi.

TEAM:-A team consisting of Inspr. Abhinendra, SHO/ Narela, Inspr. Naresh Kumar, SI Jaibir Singh, SI

Deepak HC Rajender 1260/OD, Const. Devender 1245/OD, Const. Sidharth No. 1188/OD, Const. Yogesh No. 909/OD and Const. Ravinder No. 2064/OD under close supervision of Sh. Rajeev Ranjan Singh, ACP/ Alipur was constituted and solved the above case with the arrest of above mentioned accused persons

INCIDENT/INVESTIGATION:-  On 27.09.2012 an information was received at PS-Narela that one person has been shot dead near Keshav Bhawan Kureni, Narela, Delhi. On receiving the call I.O. SI Deepak Sangwan reached at the spot and found that the injured person have been removed at SRHC hospital by the CAT Ambulance. SI reached at the SRHC Hospital and received the MLC of Riyasuddin s/o Sh. Quamuddin r/o H.No. 36, Village Kureni, Narela, Delhi, in which the doctor declared him brought dead. The statement of eyewitness Sanjay Kumar s/o Sh. Ram Gopal r/o Village – Udeshipur, District Sonepat (HR) was recorded who stated that he works as a security guard at Keshav Bhawan. When he was present on his duty, at about 10.10, PM three persons namely Washeem s/o Sh. Rashid r/o Village Kureni and Washeem s/o Sh. Sher Deen r/o Village Kureni alongwith deceased Riayasuddin came to the Keshav Bhawan. When he asked them where they are going? They told that they are going to someone’s flat. After some time he heard some gunshot sound. He found that Riyasuddin was lying on the floor and Washeem S/O Sher Deen was firing on him. He raised an alarm and both the accused fled from the spot. Blood was found on the spot and four empty cartridges were also found at the spot. On the above statement of Sanjay a case vide FIR No. 531/12 dated 28.09.2012 U/S. 302/34 IPC was registered at PS Narela and a team consisting of Inspr. Abhinendra, SHO/ Narela, Inspr. Naresh Kumar, SI Jaibir Singh, SI Deepak HC Rajender 1260/OD, Const. Devender 1245/OD, Const. Sidharth No. 1188/OD, Const. Yogesh No. 909/OD and Const. Ravinder No. 2064/OD under close supervision of Sh. Rajeev Ranjan Singh, ACP/ Alipur was constituted. During the course of investigation, accused Washeem s/o Sh. Sher Deen was arrested on 01.10.12 and Washeem s/o Sh. Rasheed was arrested on 02.10.12 and one country made pistol used in the commission of crime has been recovered on the instance of Washeem s/o Sh. Sher Deen.

INTERROGATION:-During the sustained interrogation it came to notice that Riyasuddin has given Rs. 4500/-

to Washeem s/o Sh. Sher Deen and he was insisting for returning his money. Riyasuddin has insulted Waseem many times, finding no other alternative Waseem s/o Sher Deen planned to kill Riyasuddeen. He killed Riyasuddin with the help of his friend Waseem S/o Rasheed.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:-1. Washeem (24 yrs) s/o Sh. Sher Deen R/o H. No. 20-A, Village Kureni, Narela,

Delhi. He studied upto 12th standard and belongs to middle class family. He is married and jobless. He is also a History sheeter of PS Narela.

2 Washeem (26 yrs) s/o Sh. Rasheed r/o H. No. 113, New Basti Kureni, Narela, Delhi. He studied upto 9th standard and belongs to middle class family. He is a supplier of building material.

A BLIND MUDER CASE WORKED OUTWIFE HIRES CONTRACT KILLERS TO KILL HER OWN HUSBAND

With the arrest of three persons namely Sanjita @ Sangeeta W/o Manoj Bara (deceased) , Sushil Bara s/o Clement Bara and Bimal Kujur S/o Emil Kujur, police team of Police Station Nihal Vihar, West District has worked out the blind murder case of Manoj Bara S/o Janmerious Bara R/o RZF-355, Nihal Vihar, Delhi, (Native of district Latehar, Jharkhand) Age: 33 Years, who was found dead with slit throat and multiple stab injuries caused by some unknown persons at his house on the night of 30.9.12 at about 10:45 PM.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

(1) Sanjeeta Bara W/o Manoj Bara R/o RZF-355, Nihal Vihar, Delhi. Age 31 years – studied up to primary who has been running a placement agency and

earning well.

(2) Sushil Bara S/o Clement Bara R/o Village Harra Toli, Dist Gumla, Jharkhand, Local Address – rented house at Rajokri, Delhi. Age 30 years - studied up to 9th standard and is a Riksha Puller in Rajokri, Delhi.

(3) Bimal Kujur S/o Emil Kujur R/o Village Ghurati Hasag, Dist Gumla, Jharkhand, Local Address – rented house at Rajokri, Delhi. Age 27 Years -- studied up to 12th standard and is a Riksha Puller in Rajokri, Delhi.

RECOVERY MADE

1. Weapon of offence -Blood stained Knife (KHUKHRI)2. Blood stained clothes of accused persons.

DATE/TIME & PLACE OF ARREST

On 02.10.12, Sanjeeta Bara was arrested early morning and on 03.10.12 Sushil Bara and Bimal Kujur also were arrested from their house at Rajokri, Delhi.

INCIDENT

On 30.9.12 at 10:45 PM a PCR call was received at Police Station Nihal Vihar regarding “a quarrel at RZF-355, Nihal Vihar, Delhi.”. This information was lodged

vide DD No 58B dated 30.9.12 in Police Station Nihal Vihar and was entrusted to HC Senser Pal No. 412/W. On reaching the spot, IO found one dead body of a person who was identified as Manoj Bara. The further inquiry was marked to Inspr Pramendra Singh who reached the spot and after inspection of scene of crime, he found that the victim was killed by slitting his throat and other stab injuries. The dead body was removed to SGM hospital (Mortuary). On the statement of Ms. Laxmi relative of the victim, a case vide 212/12 dated 30.9.12 u/s 302/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Nihal Vihar, Delhi and investigation of the case was entrusted to Inspr Pramendra Singh. The spot was minutely inspected by the crime team. The postmortem of the dead body was got conducted and the dead body was handed over to Sh Santosh, the brother of the deceased.

POLICE TEAM

Keeping in view the blind murder case , a team was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Sunil Kumar , SHO-Nihal Vihar, comprising of Inspr Pramendra Singh No. D/820, Inspr CL Meena No. D/3725, SI Radhey Shyam No D-1149 HC Hawa Singh No 296/W , HC Vijender No. 211/W, HC Vinod No. 1151/W and Ct Bijender No. 639/W . All possible angles were examined.

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION

During the course of investigation various angles were taken up and total 27 suspected persons were interrogated. On sustained interrogation Smt. Sanjeeta W/o Manoj Bhora revealed that she got murdered her husband murdered. She said that her husband had illicit relations with many women and she always objected to such relationships. On this, her husband used to beat her brutally. She had a fear of being murdered by her husband.

She made a plan to murder Manoj Bara before he murders her. She met one Sushil Bara and Bimal Kujur, who also hailed from Jharkhand in a church at Punjabi Bagh, Delhi and explained to them about the atrocities caused by her husband and fear of being killed. She asked them to murder Manoj Bara and rescue her from his atrocities. Sushil and Bimal agreed and asked Rs. 1.5 Lakhs which Sanjeeta agreed to pay after the murder of her husband. As per the plan, on 17/18.9.12 Sanjeeta left Delhi for her in laws village in Jharkhand so that no one could suspect her. After reaching her village, she asked Sushil and Bimal to execute the plan. On 30.9.12 at about 8:00 PM, Sushil and Bimal reached RZF-355, Nihal Vihar, Delhi and met Manoj Bara in a friendly manner when they got a chance they stabbed Manoj Bara multiple times with a KHUKHRI carried by them, and slit his throat to ensure his death. Later on, at the instance of Sanjita accused Sushil and Bimal have been arrested from their rented house at Rajokri, Delhi. Sanjita, Sushil and Bimal confessed their involvement in the crime.

Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

NOTORIOUS GANG OF DESPERATE ROBBERS / CHAIN SNATCHERS BUSTED. THREE ACCUSED INCLUDING KINGPIN OF GANG AND RECEIVER ARRESTED. ELEVEN CASES OF ROBBERY AND CHAIN SNATCHING SOLVED. 7 GOLD CHAIN SNATCHED FROM SOUTH AND NEW DELHI AREA

RECOVERED.With the arrest of accused Harish s/o Khem Singh r/o H. No. 121, Gali No.

3, Andrews Ganj, New Delhi, Vikas @ Vicky s/o Prem Chand R/o H. No. 5, Village Masjid Moth, New Delhi and Mahipal S/o Shishu pal R/o H. No. RZ-25A, West Sagarpur, New Delhi, staff of PS K.M. Pur, South District have worked out 11 cases of sensational robbery and snatching of South and New Delhi Districts. With the arrest of accused persons, 7 snatched gold chains, 1 gold plated chain, 1 laptop (make Compaq, purchased from the robbed / snatched booty), 2 mobile phones and 1 motor cycle (used in commission of crime) recovered.

BRIEF FACTS :

On 22.09.12 at around 3.45 PM, a call regarding robbery near Shubanchal Hostel, INA, New Delhi was received at PS K.M. Pur. Immediately, the local police reached at the spot and found that two youths had robbed off the chain of Smt. Lalita w/o Ramchander R/o Subhanchal hostel, INA, New Delhi after causing injuries to her and had fled away from the spot on a Silver coloured Pulsar Motorcycle. Fortunately, at the time of incident, Ct Narender Malik and Ct Jagdish of PS Kotla Mubarak Pur were patrolling in the same area. Immediately, both constables swung into action and chased the snatchers. After a long chase without caring for their personal safety and life, they finally intercepted the bike at the ring road, near South Extension. The pillion rider escaped from the spot and the other person was apprehended by them after a minor scuffle, who later identified as Vikas @ Vicky. On the complaint of Smt. Lalita, a case vide FIR No. 214/12 date 22.09.12 u/s 394/34 IPC was registered at PS Kotla Mubarak Pur.

INVESTIGATION :

In order to apprehend the criminals involved in such criminal activities, a team comprising Inspr. Anil Kumar, SIs Sunil, Sanjeev, Sushil, HC Charanjeet Singh, Cts Narender Malik, Kultrun, Jagdish, Mahesh, Anuj and Ramesh was formed under the leadership of Inspr. Naresh Solanki, SHO/K.M. Pur and under close supervision of Ms. Benita Mary Jaiker, ACP/Defence Colony. During investigation, the team worked relentlessly to locate absconding accused Harish and conducted raids at his possible hideouts in Delhi and UP but he was found absconding.  The team geared up their sources and continued to work hard, which yielded results and a secret information from a reliable

source was received regarding the movements of accused Harish in Khanpur area.  Accordingly, police team laid a trap and absconding Harish was also apprehended. Two receipts of Muthoot Finance Ltd. were recovered from the possession of accused Harish and one receipt was recovered from the possession of co-accused Vikas. During interrogation, they disclosed that they have taken loan against the three snatched gold chains from the Muthoot Finance Company Ltd. of Kotla Mubarakpur and Green Park. Both the accused persons also disclosed that they have committed several sensational crimes in the recent past and had committed major incidents of robbery and chain snatching in the various areas of South Delhi and New Delhi.

Accused Harish kept on changing his stances and after thorough interrogation, it was revealed that the robbed chains were given by him to one Mahipal working somewhere in Gurgaon, Haryana. Accordingly, several raids were conducted in Delhi and Gurgaon at the possible hideouts of Mahipal Singh and finally the police team apprehended Mahipal s/o Shishu Pal r/o RZ-25A, West Sagarpur, New Delhi from Gurgaon, Haryana. After his arrest, he disclosed that he had purchased several snatched gold chains from accused Harish and his associates and he had the knowledge about the criminal activities of Harish and others. Immediately, raid was conducted at the house of accused Mahipal and two snatched gold chains were recovered from his house. He also disclosed that he had also given a Compaq laptop to Harish in lieu of a snatched gold chain.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI:

During interrogation, accused Harish disclosed that he did not have any source of income and wanted to live a lavish life style. To fulfill his desires and to make quick money, he resorted to crime. He remained in jail till February, 2012 and after release from jail, he again indulged himself in the crime with new associates. He used to target South Indian ladies in busy markets and Metro Stations, adjacent to the isolated roads. After identifying the target, he would follow her for a good chance to commit snatching. His associate used to wait on the opposite carriage way of the main road with the ready to move position on motor cycle to escape from the spot immediately, after committing the snatching. After snatching the chain, he would run towards his associate and both would escape from the spot.

Interestingly, the accused Harish also had got a ‘pandit’ to do prayers for him and had in his possession a piece of paper with a “Police Vashikaran Mantra” (i.e. chanting and prayers to escape from the police) written on it.

Accused Harish s/o Khem Singh R/o 121, Gali No. 3, Andrews Ganj, New Delhi was born in 1988 and has studied up to 10th class.  He is unmarried and his father is a Govt. Servant. He got associated with the bad elements and started committing robbery / snatching in Delhi.  He is previously involved in following criminal cases :

Accused Vikas S/o Prem Singh r/o H. No. 5, Masjid Moth, South Ex-II, New Delhi was born in 1979 and has studied up to the 12th class. He belongs to a lower middle class family. He left his studies and started doing private job in a computer shop in

Nehru place in order to support his family. Later, he left the job and got associated with Harish and started committing crime with him.

Accused Mahipal s/o Shishupal r/o H. No. RZ-25A, West Sagarpur, New Delhi was born in 1978 and was working as a Manager/Food & Beverage in a private company. He wanted to live a lavish life style. To fulfill his ambitions and to make quick money, he got associated with the criminals/bad elements and starting purchasing stolen articles i.e. gold chains from the snatchers at minimal rates.
