From there, I started my freelancing business as a graphic designer and web developer. For several years, I designed print and web experiences thanks to a long-term remote collaboration with Yippa, a Seattle-based design studio, always pushing my WordPress knowledge a bit further. After returning to France with my wife in 2013, I continued consulting for small companies and web agencies through my personal business Mosaika. On the one hand, my graphic design skills give me the ability to handcraft easy-to-use interfaces. On the other, my self-taught knowledge for PHP and WordPress allows me to build complex interactional systems. Being a problem solver, DOM debugger and WordPress architect is now my day-to-day. Project consisted of creating an object-oriented plugin to handle logical entities and relationships (organizations & projects, companies & partnerships), developing custom user front-end flows with ACF and processing their submissions, in developing the crowdsponsoring logic of the campaign pages (Rest API, custom SQL tables to store data, integration with third-services APIs) and in creating a responsive theme based on Sage starter theme. Project consisted of defining technical specifications and features list, crafting a WordPress theme for a directory/listing website with a premium subscription system based on WooCommerce, constructing a specific PHP job to import data into the newly created WordPress structure, establishing custom user-flows to handle user sign-ups, quote requests, reviews, messages system and member account actions, and designing a customized WordPress back-office for administrators to keep track of sign-ups and sources, sent leads to partners via APIs, quotes requests and data manual CSV export. WordPress back-end and front-end developer — Haricoterie.fr 2017 WordPress and WooCommerce development for a physical and e-commerce grocery store.
