Website Content

Internet is a collection of computers.

The world connected to each other via a high-speed series of networks.

Files and documents stored on these computers.

Written in some form of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)

The computers that store the files are called servers

- Displays Web pages and other documents on the Web.

› Different browsers may interpret the HTML of Web pages somewhat differently. Background color Font type Font size Text and link colors Whether or not to download images

Usability

- Things should be easy to read, easy to access and most importantly, easy to understand .

- Design and layout.

- Spacing and margins.

- Colors and Contrast

- Dec. Content to avoid cluttering. - Learn by Example

Text Do's and Don'ts

- Don’t use small fonts, Never go below 11px

font.

- Size 14px ideal for paragraph’s of text

- Line-height is very important , makes it

easier for people to read.

What specific features do you want in the website?

Create a list of sections for your website and give them a hierarchy of importance.

Write out your content.

Find a style

Build the website.

Evaluate the website and make the required

updates.
