Web and Mobile Development The future is now. With the global impact of web and mobile technologies, interactive web and mobile technology professionals are in demand. The Web and Mobile Development program at Collin College prepares students for this profession by teaching them to create responsive websites and develop web and mobile applications. About Collin College’s Program The Web and Mobile Development program offers front-end web development, back- end web development, and hybrid mobile development. Front-end web development focuses on developing the web pages that are viewed in a browser, while back-end web development deals with server-side technologies and connecting to databases. Hybrid mobile development uses web languages to create mobile applications that can run on many different mobile devices. Three certificates are offered, all of which can be applied toward the AAS degree.
