b) A Ph.D. degree OR any other qualification equivalent to Ph.D. inAgricultural Sciences *.* It is clarified that 'Agricultural Sciences' includes the basic andapplied sciences relating to soil and water management, crop

production (including production of all garden crops and control ofplants, pests and diseases), horticulture, animal husbandry includingveterinary and dairy sciences, fisheries, forestry including farm forestry,land use and management and economics, co-operation, processingand marketing relating to agriculture as defined in Section 2 (2) of theGujarat Agricultural Universities Act, 2004.

c) At least 10 years experience in teaching and/or Research and / orExtension work of which, not less than 5 years shall be in field ofextension as Professor or its equivalent post.

d) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as perGovernment of Gujarat rules. If the candidate without having passedCCC+ examination is selected, he / she will have to pass the saidexamination during the probation period, failing which, his / herservices will be terminated.

(b) Experience as Physical Instructor on higher post in a College orUniversity for a period of not less than three years.

(c) Higher qualification including N.C.C. training and experience in physicaltraining, sports and organization of youth programme.

8. Assistant Administrative Officer

Pay Band : ` 9300-34800 + GP ` 4600

Essential qualification :

Graduate of any faculty of recognized University.

Experience :

5 years experience in the rank of Office Superintendent.OR

Total 8 years experience in the rank of Head Clerk.

Age : Not more than 35 years(The age limit will be relaxed in case of the employees of JunagadhAgricultural University).

Important :

1. New defined contributory pension scheme as introduced vide Governmentvernacular Resolution Dated: 18/3/2005 and 6/6/2005 No. NPN-2003-GOI-10-Pwill be applicable in case of candidates other than the employees of AgriculturalUniversities of Gujarat who have been appointed prior to the introduction of thisscheme.

2. The post of SC, ST and SEBC will be filled up as per the State Governmentrules in all the posts.

3. Age relaxable in case of SC, ST and SEBC as per the State Government Rules.In upper age limit, relaxation upto five years shall be admissible only to SC, ST,SEBC categories and for women candidates.

4. The crucial date for determining the eligibility in respect of Age/ EducationalQualifications/Experience should be the closing date for receipt of applicationfrom candidates i.e. 25/06/2012.

should be filled in completely and supported with attested copies of certificates of

qualifications and experience. It should be sent along with only crossed Demand

Draft of State Bank of India payable at Junagadh Branch (Code No. 03251)

amounting to 500/- (Non-refundable) in favour of "Junagadh Agricultural

University Fund Account." The reserved category candidates need not to pay

application fee.

SEBC candidate should furnish the last financial year's "Non Creamy-layer

certificate" in the prescribed proforma along with his application form, failing which

the candidate will not be entitled to get the benefit of reserved category.
