WELCOMEThe challenges of competing at the top
end of rugby in this country and in Europe have been there for all to see during the
2014/15 season. Squads are getting stronger, matches more competitive, stadia improving - and Harlequins is
at the heart of the action.
Once again, there are special memories – hard fought home wins over great teams like Leicester Tigers and Leinster in an
atmosphere at our stadium that just gets better with each passing season. That
is down to you, our loyal supporters. You bring your passion, your humour and your
welcome to our home, The Stoop.
It is your loyalty and support that keeps us striving to be the best we can be and they
will be more important than ever as we embark on two exceptional seasons
for our game and our Club.
Rugby World Cup 2015 will dominate the early autumn and will provide an
opportunity to grow our sport. July 2016 will see the start of our celebration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of Harlequins, a rare milestone. Our Members will be central to all that happens at these special events.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to welcoming you back to The Stoop.
David Ellis, Chief Executive
CONOR O’SHEADirector of Rugby
There is no doubt that the environment we operate in
is becoming more and more competitive, but also more
exhilarating, with every passing week.
♦
Here at Harlequins we have a great mix of household
names who are combining with the young talent that continues to be produced by the Club’s Academy.
This blend of internationals and youth continue to
offer the perfect mix with experience and exuberance complementing each other
on and off the pitch.♦
Our ambition remains the same: we are here to win games and to be the best. There will always be challenges to be met along
the way within a season and within each game.
♦
With your loyal support, which incredibly gets
louder and plays a greater role each season, we can
meet these challenges together and enjoy the final
destination.

WE ARE QUINSHarlequins is more than just a rugby club. Offering a
unique experience and adding spice to life we provide something that you won’t find anywhere else.
Our Members have made lifelong friends and found husbands and wives in a close-knit
welcoming community. ♦
A club steeped in rich heritage with a history dating back to 1866, we have developed our own unique playing style, encompassing tempo, ruthlessness, unpredictability and enjoyment. We play with flair, fluidity and a desire to win for each other and our supporters. Our squad comprises a number of established, household names as well as an award-winning Academy, with the Australian
powerhouse James Horwill joining us after this year’s Rugby World Cup.
♦
Our ambition goes beyond the field of play and in January we launched the Harlequins Foundation, which is built on three strands: safer and stronger
communities; inclusion and diversity; and education, enterprise and training, with the principal driving elements to improve lives within our community
and raise money for charity. ♦
The values of rugby, which will be inherent throughout the Foundation, will be central to the game’s
development on the back of the Rugby World Cup, which will provide a unique opportunity for us to grow
the game at all levels, from the grassroots through to the professional level. Harlequins will be at the
heart of this and we look forward to celebrating the occasion with you as we create a Club party at The
Stoop and welcome all supporters, young and old, to our various activities.
♦
Being a Harlequin is about much more than 80 minutes of rugby. It’s about being part of something
much bigger. It’s about standing together.
We are Quins.
“My first Quins game
was in 2002 and I’ve been hooked ever since. The Stoop has a
fantastic atmosphere and I always look forward to catching
up with friends I’ve made here and on away trips. I met my wife through
Quins and the Club is a big part of our lives and two of Quins’ youngest supporters!”
Scott Cooke, Member
“That bond we’ve developed over the years
is at the heart of what we do every weekend…
it means a lot to play alongside your very best friends in front of some of the most loyal supporters
in the Premiership.” Mark Lambert
“We’ve grown up together playing for and representing Harlequins,
from the Academy through to the First Team.
Each week we go out to play for each other
as much as for you, our incredible supporters.”
Chris Robshaw
“We couldn’t do what we do without you and your support and with
the link we have as players and friends – be
assured that we will continue to work hard to put in the performances
you want to see.”Jack Clifford

EXTRA BENEFITS FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS
KIDS AT QUINS
One of our principal aims is to get more kids playing rugby
and we offer a number of opportunities for
children of all ages to enjoy our game
MATCHDAY Currently over 100 affiliated clubs and
schools regularly take part in our matchday activities, such as our
DHL Curtain Raiser Cup Festivals, Coaching Clinics, Guards of
Honour and Junior Press Clubs. This season we
also hosted our first Community Matchday
Takeover, allowing local children to take on key match day roles under the supervision of our
staff, players and coaches.
CHARITY PARTNERS
Through the Harlequins Foundation we are
now working with three charity partners to
support young people and the community for a brighter future. Through Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s
Charity, Teach a Man to Fish and Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby, we help raise money and awareness through
exciting events, player visits and development
opportunities.
CAMPSLast summer we held 26
camps involving over 1,200 children
throughout South East England. This included our first ever girls-only camp and a residential
camp designed to mirror a week in the life of a
professional rugby player. Our aim is
simple: to teach children how to play the
Quins way!
SCHOOLS We now work with more schools than
ever before providing teacher training,
curriculum coaching and after school clubs. We also run specific girls-only sessions, coaching 300 girls
locally.
INCLUSIONThe HITZ Programme,
which we run from Lambeth, educates
disadvantaged young people and supports
them into opportunities in mainstream education and vocational training,
whilst reducing crime and anti-social behaviour. We also
run rugby programmes in inner city schools,
supporting young people to engage in rugby in school and into club
environments.
“My family and I have
enjoyed our first year as Members
immeasurably. Every event the Club has organised
has been brilliant.“The atmosphere at The Stoop is
always fantastic; especially for families (our children are 6 & 9) and Big Game 7 at
Twickenham was a real highlight.” Kai Hunter, Member

JOEMARLER
Club captainQuins is the club I
grew up supporting as a kid. I remember
coming here and once getting thrown out for misbehaving, but it didn’t deter me at all. At that point I
never once thought I could be captain of my
childhood club!♦
It’s a huge honour to be captain and great to see the faith placed in me by Conor, the Club and the lads. It’s not the
easiest job – with big shoes to fill – but I’m
learning every day and I benefit from having a great team of leaders
around me whose support is invaluable.
♦
We have such a fantastic group of
supporters who travel all over Europe and the
UK to watch us play – your commitment is massive and means
everything to this group of players. So from
them and me; thank you.
“We love Quins. We
moved away from Twickenham but still
make the long journey. That’s pulling power!!”
