Future DirectionsFuture Directions
• Continue to explore the use of portable computers for specific students with disabilities
• Expand to general education science students in the "field“– Students can create content in the field – create a constructivist learning
environment
• Portable computers allow the students to bring the technology with them– Lead to an increase in the amount of time that a student with disabilities
can be included in the general education setting and open new avenues to self-dependency
– Bring the outside world inside, and computers/technology outside
