I used to word chill

which is informalEx: People get

things, but

Rainsford is just

Hunter or the Hunted essay I used the word

straight up which is

not very understandingto the reader.

General Zaroff is a

straight up bad person

and is not thankful for

anything he has.

A more formal word

would be saying very

blunt.

My thesis was that

Oedipuss downfall

was due to his ownignorance

The examples that I

gave said more about

his other qualities suchas aggressiveness then

it did his ignorance.

Endangered Species Essay I stated that if we do

not take care of our

species in the worldwe live in, our own

die.

I did not give an

example or explain

why I assumed that. Ishould have gave an

example of how we

could take care of our

species in the world.

One of my researches

was that students who

reported playing moreviolent video games in

high school had more

aggressive

personalities andbehaved more

aggressively.

I did not explain that

research though, I

should have given astudy that proved that

or told them how the

games would have

made them act moreaggressive.

In order to make improvements on wordchoices, relating my examples to support

my main points and thesis, and giving

more examples to explain all of myresearch and thoughts I need to keep in

mind that my essay should be easily read

understood.
