Perhaps you would like to order some nuts—our annual NUT SALE has returned and will be conducted with proper social distancing! Maybe you still have not entered the drawing for our beautiful handmade quilt. Or, perhaps you are willing to send a gift in support of the ongoing work of the Shepherds Center of KCK. Whatever your choice, we sure hope you will use the envelope! As always, we are full of gratitude for all of our donors, volunteers and partners. Many of you are anxious to get back out and about. If you want an opportunity for physical exercise, you are invited to attend this free class conducted at the Joe Amayo Community Center, 2810 Metropolitan Avenue, KCK. The classes meet at 8:30 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Before our world was turned upside down, our Adventures in Learning attendees were interested in collecting needed items for our new next door neighbor by Grace Lutheran, the Avenue of Life Youth House. Now, almost 6 months later, we are so pleased to report that the youth house is ready to receive its first young ladies. Below is a list of items that would be helpful for the home to have on hand.

Lotion

Shampoo Deodorant

Combs/bushes Tampons, Pads

Soap Toothpaste Tooth brush Wash cloths

Towels Laundry detergent
