Summary

OBJECTIVES

Due to The National Space Strategy of Thailand 2017 – 2036 comprises 6 components including 1. space technology development (about communication satellite and EOS), 2. space for national security, 3. space economy, 4. space exploration, 5. national space academy/capacity building and 6. international cooperation, therefore project of National Space Exploration : NSE then relates to term of Space Exploration Strategy. The main objective is to create a Manned Space Program that Thailand has a plan to send Thai people into space, but the mission for astronaut is very more important. NSE 2017 is to find a valued research to experiment in space, then the next plan for Manned Space Program will be proceeded. Therefore, the point of space experimental research for NSE 2017 is to create a piece of space innovation for studying learning and will be a mission of Thai astronaut, and finally is the sustainable country’s development

WORK PLAN & TIMELINE 2017

1. PR project to universities, institutes and agency researchers as well as other specialists related to this project (ex: poster, Facebook radio TV etc.)

2. Call for project proposal: deadline is March 31, 2017

3. After Mar31, the selected research or experiment in space would be included to the information technology foundation

4. International cooperation about laboratory in space required 5. All necessary equipment will be designed tested and

manufactured for EM version 6. Then will be sent to ISS by next year
