We’ll let you in on a little secret. It’s a privilege documenting true love. It makes us a little teary-eyed just thinking about it! From engagement butterflies to happily ever after… each couple has their own love story. We work hard to ensure your pictures are just as unique as you.

We are Josh + Jenny Solar. We have fun taking pictures.Since we’re going to get to know each other better, let’s break the ice. We have fun taking pictures...and fully expect you to do the same. If you’re not having a great time, we’re not having a great time, and we LOVE to have a great time.

We also LOVE each other...a lot. We’re high school sweethearts who LOVE each other just as much now as we did then (yeah, it still happens). We have 3 wildly wonderful children, and we LOVE them, too.

If you’ve checked out our blog or site you’ve probably noticed that we LOVE to capture people having fun...that’s just how we roll. We treat each of you as the unique individuals that you are. We want to get to know you better, to learn what makes you two LOVE each other so much.

We want to capture all those little looks you give each other. The way you hold each other, or snuggle, as you’ll hear Josh say quite often.

Every couple has their own love language. We capture it for you in pictures.

What do we want most? To capture you being YOU.

We are not super heroes with the ability to create moments. All the shots you see are real people being real, and we LOVE that so much!

WhO WILL ShOOT OUr WEDDIng?If you choose a package with one photographer, Josh will shoot your wedding. If you add a second shooter, Jenny will be there too!

hOW LOng hAVE YOU bEEn ShOOTIng WEDDIngS? We have been shooting weddings for 10 years, and have shot over 250 together.

WhAT kInD OF EqUIpmEnT DO YOU USE? We use professional grade nikon digital cameras and professional grade nikon lenses. And we always bring backup equipment to every wedding.

You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers!

hOW mAnY pIcTUrES WILL WE gET? For an average 8 hour wedding, you will get 700-900 photos.

WhEn WILL OUr prOOFS bE rEADY? Wedding proofs are generally available about 3-4 weeks after your wedding, however we will have teaser photos up on our blog within about a week.

hOW mUch EDITIng DO YOU DO TO OUr phOTOS? We do basic color correction and exposure adjustments to all your photos before they are uploaded to our proofing site or put on your DVD. Every image that goes into a finished

product—a print or an album—will be fully edited in photoshop to make it as perfect as it can be.

hOW SOOn ShOULD WE bOOk YOU FOr OUr WEDDIng? We tend to book about a year out for the most popular dates, so as soon as you have your date picked, you need to schedule a consultation!

WE’rE rEADY TO bOOk YOU FOr OUr WEDDIng, WhAT nExT? In order to hold your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a $1000 non-refundable retainer.

On your wedding day, expect us to be right next to you the whole day. And when we say right next to you, we mean it. The emotion that flows throughout your day is what makes us LOVE hanging out with you so much. So you can bet if you’re crying with your parents, we’re going to be right there with you capturing those moments (and if it happens to be Josh, well, he’ll be crying along with you).

custom wedding albums start at $1500.

OUr WEDDIng ALbUm DESIgn prOcESSWe design all of our wedding albums on a pre-design process. This means that we will choose all of the images for your album and do the entire initial design. You will see the online proof of your album about 3 weeks after you order your album, and you will have the opportunity to have input in the design at that time. We will design your initial proof as we envision your album, using the number of spreads we feel is necessary to tell your story. Wait! There’s more! Have you heard about our photobooth?

This is not your grandma’s hide-in-a-booth, no-interaction type of photo-booth. This is a wide-open-for-every-one-to-join-in type of experience (our fave!). We set up a white background, add a light and have a TOn of fun with you and your guests. Everyone is encouraged to come through once, twice, heck, three times if they want (as long as they’re willing to have fun!). no boring stand there and smile images…it’s all high-energy (and fun, did we mention fun yet?).
